That black card that you did each color across the paper, that reddish-purple color looks like a sunset.💜 The Thanks card and butterfly cards are so cool!💜🦋
Beautiful cards. My favorite was the fireworks, But my favorite background was where you swiped the color on with the palette knife. I preferred the one you did not smooth out that had more texture. I'm crazy for texture.
All the cards are beautiful but the last was my favorite! Thanks for showing how to use the solar paste. I can’t wait till I get home to use the last technique
All the cards are great and my favorite is the fireworks. Your ideas are simple but yield wonderful results. I noticed you cut a frame to layer a border instead of using a solid piece of paper, which is what I do. It saves paper for using the cut out portion in various die cutting shapes and makes the card lighter when postage is concerned. I also scoop some paste to put on a pallet or work space so that the jar doesn't stay open too long while I apply paste to my project . I live in a dry climate and there's always a crust forming in the jar before I'm finished applying paste. From time to time I have to mist the jar to keep it from drying out. Another idea is to thin the paste with water for applying splatters.
This video was amazing! Love all the different things you can use with the New Solar Paste!! I actually like the last card you did and then use the paste as paint!! They all are beautiful!!
Ok WOW! Lots of Really good ideas! Idk I liked them all! Didn't know I could paint with them tho, or put them together....!! Thanks for the inspiration!!!
Fabulous cards Lisa 🥰 I love the shiny paste, your card designs and the different ways you used the paste ❤️ thanks for sharing your creativity Hugs xx
Oh Lisa! That last card was absolutely my favorite! Beautiful, delicate and so elegant! Wonderful job on all of them! I have several anniversaries coming up and I moved the idea of the fireworks with the different colored embossing pastes! Thank you for sharing this with us! 💗
These solar pastes are so pretty. Yes, start with one and see if you like it. You can always add more to your collection later. The gold is a good color to start with.
Hi Tanya. I wanted to let you know that Scrapbookcom is giving away a jar of the Golden Hour Solar Paste for free today. I remember you mentioning that you wanted to try the gold one so I thought I'd reply again to let you know in case you didn't already purchase it. The only catch is that you have to pay shipping. The website says the deal is good for three days or until it sells out. Here's a link in case you want to check it out. shrsl.com/4bpfu
I saw these advertised yesterday, and then my thought was...when is Lisa going to be demoing them. Last night, I found your video. Love the colors but especially the blue and purple.
I can’t decide on which card they’re all so beautiful but the one thing I think about that paste is you probably have to use it all up because I think that paste will harden very quickly if left in the jar for more than a month so in my right do I need to use that whole paste up right away
Hi Sheryle. This paste is brand new and I've only had it a few days so I cannot tell you if it will harden in a month's time. I do suggest using some press n' seal to make the shelf life last longer, as I would suggest this with any paste. Feel free to check back in with me later on and I'll be happy to let you know if my bottles have hardened after a month. Hopefully they do not.
Lisa, thank you for getting back to me so quickly I really didn’t mean a month month I just meant will it eventually go bad I bought all the colors of another brand and it all harden. I went to use it the other day and it was all hard as a rock, so either throw it all in the garbage but I’ll love your videos. I just love all your videos. I watched them over and over and over again I have haven’t purchased anything as of yet, but I will I promise.
Beautiful. Are these pastes to be used on cardboard and other paper products or can you use them on other materials like fabric, wood or ceramic? Thanks!
Thank you, Mariola. I've only used the solar paste on cardstock so I cannot tell you how they work on fabric, wood, and ceramic. I did reach out to Simon Hurley, the maker of the pastes, to ask your question. If I hear back, I'll respond again.
Just a question. I do have the overheated color on the solar paste. How long do you let the paste dry? And how do you like to clean the stencil when using the solar paste?
Hi Sherry. The dry time really depends on how much solar paste you put down. If you have a thin layer, it shouldn't take long at all to dry whereas a thicker layer would take more time. If you don't want to wait for it to air dry, you can always use a heat tool to dry it. As for cleaning the stencil, I run it under warm water. If you find that the solar paste drys on the stencil, try using a sponge like a Scrub Daddy. It works better than a regular sponge to get the paste off.
Hi Connie. Lunar Paste is a creamy and colorful paste. It comes in a variety of vivid, bright colors. The lunar paste will hold its same color whether applied to white or black cardstock. Solar Paste is a creamy white paste that has a metallic color shift when it hits the light. The solar paste appears very subtle on white cardstock. When applied to black cardstock, you can really see the intense metallic shine.
These techniques and ideas are absolutely brilliant, Lisa! 🤩
Thanks so much! 😊
