Let's be HONEST, Godwin is WR1. I Love M1k3, but he's the 2nd option if you watch what happened in the 1st 4 games this season. Add another good WR prospect in the draft, sign Godwin and spend every last remaining nickel on the defense
I find it funny that everyone is looking past Jack Sawer as our first round pick. He has a grade of over 90% on PFF and was a double digit sack guy in a tough conference. I remember when everyone was looking past TJ Watt. 🤔
A good video and fair summary of our team (coming from a divisional rival). TB has more money in FA than in previous years and lots of draft picks. TB looks like a strong pick to win the division again. If Licht works some magic in the offseason, this team could be a #1 seed in the playoffs next year. Hopefully, also, not as many injuries next year.
We need a big defensive lineman to pair with Vita to help eat up blocks. That will allow more 1v1s on the edge and also help stop the run without having to blitz so much which will also allow the defense to have more ppl in coverage. Bowles likes to blitz the secondary to help stop the run but having another big lineman will allow the LBs to shoot the gaps better so that we can cut back on blitzing so much
The Bucs literally have almost no need on the offense and all but one pick to go build the defense at ILB, edge and corner. To you point though, injuries to Dennis at ILB and the safety room were major factors in the passing game. You are crazy to think Godwin won't be back now that Coen is staying. J Mac was great but why let a guy that was vying with Chase for the Triple Crown walk out the door? This team is loyal and pays the guys that deserve it. The dislocated ankle is not nearly the bad injury that his last injury was. He could have been back for the NFC Championship. Also, the secondary was a lot of rookies that got some good experience in Bowles scheme so just staying healthier as a unit is like hitting home runs in FA and the draft. The Bucs really don't need much next year to be a real problem in the NFC for the next several seasons. That's not even mentioning Baker playing like a top 5 QB. I am already so hyped for next season. LFG!!!!
If McMillan becomes WR2 we have no viable 3 or 4. And Evans is nearing the end of his career so we have to resign Godwin who was really our WR1a before the injury.
Hopefully, Jarrett and Palmer will take the next step in their development this offseason along with Culp and all the young defensive players. If we can build a decent and consistent defense, we'll have more success next season
Our DBs are actually fine. Our Linebackers this year took a huge decline in pass coverage. Middle of the field constantly open. Bowles dialing up extremely soft coverage as to protect the linebackers from constantly getting beat on big plays
You guys should also add WR as a team need. Evans and Godwin went down at the same time and the passing game went straight down the toilet. Sure, McMillan stepped up, but he did so when Evans returned, but more importantly couldnt depend on any other receiver outside of them unless it was a TE.
Take it to the bank, the Bucs are not letting Godwin go. Look at his production at the beginning of the year. Coen ran the offense through him. He was receiver 1A and Evans was 1B. I'm confident Coen had a conversation about Godwin before he signed a contract to come back with the Bucs. Take it to the bank!
Godwin still better than the rookie . Mcmillen havent done nothing yet .. so cut the crap ..spreading BS ...i think better deleting your podcast ...you guys talking nonesence i mean ...blahhh blahhh blahhh ..bye
Bucs will draft a WR in this years draft and I think everything else will be defense. What I'd love to see Jason Licht do this off season is pull another JPP trade even if it means giving up our number one draft pick to get a proven impact edge rusher. They will still need to address ILB, CB and safety help in the draft but getting more pressure on the QB with our front four would take a lot of pressure off of our secondary and I think we would see significant improvement out of the secondary play next year.
You're wrong. Chris Godwin WILL be back in Tampa next year.
Absolutely
100%. We take care of our own and Godwin is beloved in Tampa. Plus we need him
Tampa will keep godwin and could draft another WR in round 1 if the right talent fell. Luther burden ?
Yep. Book it.

AWJ isn’t always injured, he’s missed 6 games in the prior 4 years to this season. This was just a weird season for injuries

Thanks for the coverage

Bucs gonna get to SB next year if they put in hard work.
@@bt.437 yeah if we get a corner and let Dean go bout his business.

Looks like we just need to improve the turnovers on offense and passing defense and we should roll like a Mac truck next year.
Need a better secondary too
Houston we have a VERY BIG PROBLEM. It is Jayden Daniels!!!! We had our chance! We were not healthy and especially on defensive backs.

As much as I like Godwin, we did really well without him. I don’t hate the idea of saving (his) money for other players.
With Liam Coen returning Chris Godwin will absolutely be back.
Add depth on the offensive line, spend the rest on defense
Godwin will be back next year he is to good in the slot
Godwin????? You are out of touch with this team. Cmon bro.
Trade down, get more picks and pick up some quality free agents on defense.
Godwin will stay in TB
I hope the Buccaneers resigns Devonte David! He is one of the leaders on this team.
Just do better and handle the ball and the clock keep ppl
Stop listening to AI…Godwin will be back for the 2025 season.
