Well, it seems like any level of gubment nowadays has become a subset of the population that just does not associate with reality. It sucks that North Idaho has become Upper Northern Southern California. Do any of our other local airports have the same issues? SZT or DEW, IS6, 65S or anybody else? I've heard there are a lot of HOA issues at Treeport, Hackney seems to have their 💩in a group. Thanks for the update for those that couldn't make the meeting though, good information flow is key.
Right on with the video on the Advisory Board meeting, Shane. I think the members just need to focus on critical items needing fixing and save the parliamentary discussions for Special Meetings. The new Board has good intentions, they just need to re-group and move on to getting things accomplished before the busy season. Thanks to all the Board members for your service and thanks to Shane.
Greetings from the UK :D It's great to see someone so passionate about their work, and not just bad-mouthing the bureaucracy but also prepared to put the work in to help educate the people involved, and support a whole area of their community. Hopefully some of the board is watching and will take you up on it, and that things will run better and smoother for all involved in future Keep it shiny side up!
Excellent Video and Explanation of what is going on, or not going on LOL, with the airport, I think I should start coming to the meetings so I can see in person just what you're talking about. Thanks again. I just live here in Hayden and a lot of planes come right over the house in the summer on approach so no excuses for me not coming and listening too . Thanks for taking the time to do this.! Really Interesting
Airport Nazis, that's what the last few "managers" were, demanding to see log books, one told me the "FAA runs the airport" (it's a county airport), ass kissing, influence peddling, condescending people who don't even fly. They were offended when my mechanic came to work on my plane because I didn't use their buds on the field. They really do think owners and pilots of little airplanes are unsophisticated nuciences, they want us to be a "regional jetport"
Yes very painful meeting, the chair needs to get to the business of the airport, too much wasted time for all involved, thanks to the board members for their time.
