I feel robbed. a while ago i had stopped playing DDR, because DDR X was a steaming pile of crap, with the exception of Saber Wing. But this playlist kicks ass! It's like a retro song list, and i almost crapped my self when i saw that Un Deux Trois was on here, cause that is one of my all time favorite songs in DDR. Plus, this has a GREAT selection of NAOKI!
Even all these years later I consider this to be what X should have been, both in terms of content, and aesthetically; X felt like it was trying way too hard to be "urban", but this game merges a more urban style with DDR's typical dance aesthetic a lot better IMO.

@ddrmaxman To add on to this post, THIS DDR X2 was completely thrown out the window when it came to Japan, they used what we would regret not wanting which was the PS3 DDR beta interface, since DDR PS3 didn't live up to it's hype, the DDR series has at the moment moved to the Wii series seeing that DDR games in Japan have halted for some strange reason...
Even though Stepmania exists, I really hope DDR comes back to consoles like the Switch. I still have my Mario Mix DDR pad, and since the Switch supports gamecube controllers, I could actually use it.
"Japanese versions were always better" yeah. same is a shame that Konami of Japan, never ported the REAL DDR X2 for PS3 in 2011, and then years later continue ported the other main titles of arcades in PS3 and PS4, from X2 to A.
That's the result of localisation...this is the US-America home version of DDRX2...meanwhile your mentioned tracks are either on a japanese home version or an arcade...and imho, this was the worst ddr because of the music playlist (basically a fanservice for latino and mainstream pop music lovers) and also from 2008 to 2012 DDR was on its dark days...
If you want a good amount of DDR X2 tracks for home, check out Dance Dance Revolution II for the Wii. It has a lot of good songs from DDR X2, including all of the Replicant D Action songs

I found a copy of this at a yard sale of all places. For 2$, that more than worth it. Will have no problem enjoying A Geisha Dream, Brilliant 2 U, Sacred Oath, Kimono Princess & Pluto the first. I can get my arcade vengeance on Pluto the first taking the last of my change.
I've grown to like this song list, but the lack of a 16 to fill the gap between KIMONO/roppongi and Pluto the First has bugged me a ton. It would have been the absolute perfect opportunity to bring in PARANOiA Respect, since it wasn't present in Supernova.

Este juego venía con el tapete que compre hace como 2 años y es uno de los peores ddr que he jugado, las licenciadas son horribles y aburridas, el modo maestro de dado es igual de aburrido y nada interesante, no están los trajes que venía en X (los desbloqueables solo es un color para los personajes), siendo este el primer ddr en español no tiene ninguna razón para estarlo por qué quitaron la sección "información" que venía con datos sobre las canciones. Me alegro de tenerlo por qué no sabía que en la actualidad es raro de conseguirlo pero como juego en sí es horrible y no vale la pena gastar el tiempo tratando de conseguir las canciones. Lo único bueno que puedo encontrar son las canciones nuevas que contiene el juego que me encantaron pero solo eso.
DDR X2 US PS2 fue un Error..... Neta, me hubiese encantado ver el DDR X2 CS JP para PS3, con la interfaz del Arcade del X2 del 2010. En pocas palabras, un port del DDR X2 para el PS3.
Realmente desde el DDRX usa venía en una decadencia tremenda y como claro Konami usa se apresuraba para sacar las versiones , mientras Japón se tomaba la molesta de lanzarlo casi al año al PS2 fue por eso que KONAMI Japón no cayó en la trampa y por eso la interfaz de la DDX2 arcade con su songlist fue tremenda para esa época pienso que era la tercera mejor entrega detrás de la extreme y 4mix plus arcade. Y lo que decían en otros comentarios Konami usa la remata cagaandola peor en su versión para play 3 de una forma horrible , lo intentaron remediar para la Wii pero fue tarde.. Ojalá Konami Japón lanzará una versión para consola con una buena recopilación así como lo hizo con la extreme japonés para la PS2 111 canciones era una joya !!!
i can understand why X2 on PS2 is goin' for so much money now -_- it's not even a good enough mix to be expensive and it's only worth it for a few songs but then again i can't too much complain as PAL region DDR games are still much worse despite how less DDR games they had compared to even tha US mixes
Oh dear. I think I’m the only one who didn’t like this song list. Sorry guys. Most of my favorites on this list were repeats of past games, but there were a couple songs that were original to this game I liked alright. One thing I wished they did a better job of was picking better licensed songs. Pretty much none of them made me want to dance. They were more radio/sing along songs than dance songs.

Konami USA dio el ultimo aliento haciendo una version casera que sea casi semejante al X2 llamada DDR II, todo ok y aceptable pero la caga en las licenciadas.
El theme de este DDR me gustó. Me atrevo a decir que me gustaba más este que el look arcade. Pero las canciones dejan mucho que desear.. horribles y para nada bailables en su mayoría.

Después salió el SuperNOVA 2 que estuvo "meh!" y el X que también dejó mucho que desear... Lo que pasó con DDR X2 es que en ese tiempo salieron otros juegos de baile como Just Dance, y esos juegos metían muchas canciones "populares", por eso Konami USA apostó por meter licencias de canciones populares en un afán de no perder a su público, pero vaya canciones de mierda que metieron.. "La camisa negra", "Viva la vida"?... cómo diablos bailas eso? jaja

Neta, me hubiese encantado ver el DDR X2 CS JP para PS3, con la interfaz del Arcade del X2 del 2010.
En pocas palabras, un port del DDR X2 para el PS3.
Realmente desde el DDRX usa venía en una decadencia tremenda y como claro Konami usa se apresuraba para sacar las versiones , mientras Japón se tomaba la molesta de lanzarlo casi al año al PS2 fue por eso que KONAMI Japón no cayó en la trampa y por eso la interfaz de la DDX2 arcade con su songlist fue tremenda para esa época pienso que era la tercera mejor entrega detrás de la extreme y 4mix plus arcade.
Y lo que decían en otros comentarios Konami usa la remata cagaandola peor en su versión para play 3 de una forma horrible , lo intentaron remediar para la Wii pero fue tarde..
Ojalá Konami Japón lanzará una versión para consola con una buena recopilación así como lo hizo con la extreme japonés para la PS2 111 canciones era una joya !!!

it's not even a good enough mix to be expensive and it's only worth it for a few songs
but then again i can't too much complain as PAL region DDR games are still much worse despite how less DDR games they had compared to even tha US mixes

Most of my favorites on this list were repeats of past games, but there were a couple songs that were original to this game I liked alright.
One thing I wished they did a better job of was picking better licensed songs. Pretty much none of them made me want to dance. They were more radio/sing along songs than dance songs.

Aquí vemos como la DDR por culpa de Konami usa empezó a decaer una songlist mediocre y aparte unas licencias que nada que ver , por lo menos Japón reaccionó y no se dejo influir sacando una arcade magnífica a comparación de esto que decepciona tanto , triste que Konami Japón no sacará su versión consola de la arcade , las canciones fueron llevadas a la versión de wii
Konami USA dio el ultimo aliento haciendo una version casera que sea casi semejante al X2 llamada DDR II, todo ok y aceptable pero la caga en las licenciadas.
El theme de este DDR me gustó. Me atrevo a decir que me gustaba más este que el look arcade. Pero las canciones dejan mucho que desear.. horribles y para nada bailables en su mayoría.
@@JorgeAlvarez-wf9sd yo no sé que le pasó a Konami usa en serio fue como un recopilatorio a lo loco y muy pocas canciones nuevas, por eso es que Konami Japón dejo de seguirle el juego y sacó su versión Arcade , me atrevo a decir que la DDRX2 Arcade era la tercer mejor entrega hecha antes de la A20Plus.
Para mí las mejores versiones arcade son las siguientes:
1. DDR EXTREME
2. DDR 4MIX PLUS
3. DDR A20 PLUS
4. DDR X2 ARCADE.
5. DDR SUPERNOVA 2

@@charleyx55 Los DDR USA ya venían dando songlist mediocres.. el último bueno para mi fue el SuperNOVA con canciones como de Paul van Dyk y Armin van Buuren y otras muy buenas... Después salió el SuperNOVA 2 que estuvo "meh!" y el X que también dejó mucho que desear...
Lo que pasó con DDR X2 es que en ese tiempo salieron otros juegos de baile como Just Dance, y esos juegos metían muchas canciones "populares", por eso Konami USA apostó por meter licencias de canciones populares en un afán de no perder a su público, pero vaya canciones de mierda que metieron.. "La camisa negra", "Viva la vida"?... cómo diablos bailas eso? jaja

Yo creo que todas las versiones USA se defendían. No eran tan malas. En SuperNOVA ya estaban metiendo a DJ's buenos como Armin van Buuren o Paul van dyk.. hasta que llegamos a... Juanes... Enrique Iglesias... Lady Gaga... En serio?? Que mierda tienen en la cabeza!!!
@@Navydeep-y8j para mí si hablamos de play 1 la konamix era muy buena con una excelente recopilación de todos sus juegos lanzados en Japón, si es de PS2 para mí la DDRMAX, DDRMAX2 Y LA EXTREME 2 eran las mejores versiones americanas.
