Yep, its a great machine still slowly learning, but getting a little better each day... My scoop is designed to pull towards yourself to dig, but I don't have the upper body strength to do that with one arm so I have to kick it up a notch with my leg 😂 I know it looks funny and people comment about it all the time... I'll get a new scoop when my detector is paid off lol Till then I'm just working with what I got

How come you don’t step on the back of the scoop instead of pulling it toward you? Same results, it just seems like more work. The beach gives you just enough good finds to stay hooked. Lol Nice jewelry finds🤙
I get this same question all the time lol! It is the way my scoops pole is positioned it is a weird angle and I'm not able to step on the back of it. I use my leg cause I don't have enough upper body strength to just use my arms, shoulders and back lol... The struggle is real! lol I have a new scoop in my amazon wishlist I just need to save up to buy a new one...

That was a neat Idea with the pull tabs an bottle caps. you have a unique way of operating your scoop using your foot to pull it toward you.
Thank you they turned out pretty good for my first time! And I know my scoop isn't the kind you step on cause the pole is too far forward and I don't have the upper body strength to dig with one arm lol I'm eventually going to get a new scoop some day because I struggle lol!

You should use your target pinpointer (bottom middle button) when scanning over a target. Saves a lot of miss digging
I know I always forget it is there... I usually use it after I've dug a three foot hole lol!

Your swing overlap is non existent. You'll find way more if you overlap your swing and walk slower 🙂

@@hobbieswithhollie7147 "Oris Terminator 2" is decent ($90 on ebay) but avoid the "High accuracy proffessional" junk under $20. I just take mine to a jeweler. Then take the opportunity to ask questions and learn from the experts.
