5:15 unfortunately - no. Explosions don't seem to be tanked by most "solid" objects in the game. Some walls work, but most things - yeah you're better off just trying to run as far away as possible. I've been killed by dynamites thrown on the first floor while I was on the second, and the dynamite was on the ground too.
