Thank you so much for your great videos about Hoi An and Vietnam guys! We're traveling to Vietnam in December and we're watching your videos during breakfast every day to get hyped ❤ Keep it up!
I legit did the same thing in Hoi An! Have visited many times and between 2018 and 2022 my favourite hotel closed down and all the restaurants I remembered were totally different! Still so beautiful, but definitely lots of changes. Am loving this series!
So fun to go back and see how things have changed isn't it? A bit of a shame that your favs had gone, I guess ours just seemed to move haha. Sorry for the delayed reply btw!
Loving the series. We hit some of those spots back in 2004 . Hope you guys are doing ok. from Harriet, Jim and Yuki currently in Washington, DC visiting our in-laws
Hey Dane and Stacey, we are fellow kiwis following in your footsteps. We watched this video remembering our trip to Hoi An earlier this year but had one question - when you were at the beach and both went in the water, how did you protect the rest of your stuff? We didn’t want our phones and cameras to get stolen so we ended up swimming separately.
Going to Vietnam in December. Do you just ride the bikes illegally. Noticed it’s impossible for NZ/AUS to ride legally unless you’re there more than 3 months. I don’t mind risking it in quieter areas but you never know what could happen. Not being covered for anything insurance wise is a bit scary if something happened on the bike. What are your thoughts on this. Doing the Ha Giang loop and will for sure get an easy rider cos that is a sketchy road
That’s a big question really - you’re right, insurance doesn’t tend to cover it, things are sometimes easier if you have a. Motorcycle licence but not really. We had a local in Vietnam tell us insurance is a joke in the country anyway, no one offers it, no one has it so no one uses it. Short answer, be safe, eyes up at all times and take as much risk as you’re comfortable with
Hi to you both I just watched your latest venture in Hanoi and could you please tell me the name of the accommodation you stayed in the one with the pool thank you so much we are staying there in February 2025 thanks Rodney Newton
vloggers always say the fake Patagonia or North Face or Fjallraven…well, when any of us are buying it back in New Zealand, Australia, US, Canada and so on, and are paying 5 to 10 times the price and then look at the labels and it said “Made in Vietnam” 😂😂😂 probably all came out of the same factory too.
Guys this intro was flipping brilliant! Loved it!😁
Thanks guys! Hope you’re doing great, your channel doing well?

Great question! We would normally swim separately but we met a couple of Kiwis who were sat next to us and offered to look after our stuff 😊
When are you guys coming to Cambodia?
We have been to Cambodia a few years ago - no plans to go back anytime soon but we loved it. The people were the smiliest, happiest people ever!
Nice! We very much loved it, like you we also made a TH-cam video ❤
Nice one guys! 😊
Mumma Chi's link is not working. Can you tell us the name of the hotel please? Loving the Vietnam series.
Oh no! It’s working for us, did you find it? Mr Tho Garden villas
/makes a note to self to try the lemongrass chicken if I ever make it to Hoi An haha
Definitely! It’s legit
Any impact of Yagi on the trip or was this filmed a while ago?
So sad to see the devastation caused by Yagi. Fortunately for us, we left just before it hit.
In rainy season from Oct to Dec, you will see flood in Hoi An .😂
Very sad to see some of the flooding in past years!
@@DanegerAndStacey storms & big rain with flood will come to Hoi An in November, soon.

Hi Rodney, do you mean Hoi An? That palce was called Cozy An Boutique Hotel 😊
@@DanegerAndStacey thankyou
it has changed for the better? or worse?
Some say over developed now, we say it’s all for the best because prices have stayed fairly similar too

Haha who knows, you could be right!
First comment, I need to be rewarded dont you think?
Ya know I think you were actually second on this one
Can I get a Hoi Annnn?
Annnnnnnn 😂
Hey! Do you handle editing yourself or have you hired someone? I’m an editor and would love to discuss, if you’re interested
Thanks for the offer, but we like to edit all our own videos at this stage 😊
@@DanegerAndStacey Got it! appreciate your response.
What did Stace look like went she was fat? It is hard to fathom Stace being fat
Haha that's because I dressed to hide my caramel cake belly 🤣
