      Southern Maine has high property taxes. Would be smart to reopen the gravel pit and find great success. I love it, but not for me.

    Wish i could swing this one. Great location and perfect size property. Make a great homestead with some rental cabins or a campground. Great beaches and all the amenities anyone could ever need near by. Too bad its about $400,000 more than i could afford. Call you if i hit the powerball this weekend.

    Beautiful land. I’m surprised to learn that there is so much acreage available in southern Maine, and that close to shopping. I assumed one would have to go much further north and deeper into the interior to find 100+ sized parcels. Close enough to the ocean without paying the price for being on the ocean. My wife would be more agreeable to retiring there than where I had been looking. Very Nice.

    Cool property, but understandably, not cheap. It would have been interesting to see more of where the quarying was done. I'd expect there to be a much larger area than that one piece you showed. Old quarries around me often get filled with water where they have been excavated. Any water features like that on this land?

    Where is the potential here? Can it be divided? $495 k seems a little strong for a house lot.

      Good question Pat. I have read the 200+ page building ordinance for the town of Arundel. It looks like you could divide it. To be safe you would want to check with the town code officer. Happy to provide you with that information if you want to reach out to me directly.
