- Out for a quick scout on the jumping tides accompanied with south west winds and connected to a proper Mullet well over 4lb and the battle was easy 10 plus minutes with the fish giving me a dozen or more blistering runs one of which literally hit the bank the other side at speed!
This is the best fighting Mullet from the Plym in a very long time so a special fish for me such a shame we never got it on film!

Nice mullet mate,litter is problem everywhere nowadays,sweetcorn is great bait for many fish all bream love them ,the problem with mullet and sweetcorn is digestive problems they fill up with it and can’t pass it, I’ve seen it wipe out shoals of good mullet last year.
