Nice video, we stayed around Uvita and didn't really explore Dominical, so it was nice to see something from the area. Such wonderful beaches, too bad you couldn't go to the Ballena Marine Park. Hope you guys got to see the Nauyaca Waterfalls :)

Makes me so happy seeing them happy! :) We’re in Guatemala now traveling after having driven up from CR and we brought all 8! Lol it’s been a heck of an adventure but seeing them enjoying life to the fullest is worth every dime and headache. We’ll be putting together some new content featuring our pawed crew soon! 🤞 Cheers!

Love The video, hope to stay there when we move that way. Pura vida & Clam chowder!
Ps which of the three towns of Dominical Uvita and Ojochal is the best for a young retiring couple for finding rental homes. We don’t see much on the inter webs on this subject.

Amazing! Clam chowder; love it! Thank you for watching to the end!
I think the best way, besides driving around in person, to find rentals for long-term is to join the facebook community of the area. I've seen that most residents of the three mostly live in the less touristy, smaller towns nearby the popular beach attractions and lots of people end up in the hills with ocean views away from the busy highway. Uvita has a large expat presence and a thriving community on facebook but I suspect it gathers from both north and south as well.
Best advice for moving here is to come and move around in person. There are give-and-takes to every place be it access to int. airports, etc. And certain "vibes" (yes, but it's just the best way to describe it haha) to each place.
Truly wishing you the best in your journey! Thanks again for watching and for the comment!

clamchowder What's is it like there the days between Christmas and the new year? I am heading that direction now.

Hi Harry! :) Christmas and New Year is a very popular time of year to visit so you can expect things to be a bit more crowded than other times of year but there are always little secluded sections of beach. It’s not like places that get so packed you can’t fit another towel on the sand. It’s a fun time of year to be out and about as there are lots of things going on around town and live music!

Hi Joe! Thank you for checking in. I apologize for the delay; I am so anxious to get on the road again and get some videos out. We've had a big move, car trouble and just life getting in the way but we are hopefully heading out next week. The plan for now is Guanacaste! Hoping to film Tamarindo, Playa Avellana, Playa Junquillal, Nosara and Samara
