i LOVEEED bunny!! it’s definitely a what the fuck is going on here book but it’s written beautifully and has some really strong characters. it was a 5/5 star for me and i loved it even more after reading the “theories” as to what had happened.

I read six of crows and crooked kingdom without knowing a thing about shadow and bone and had a great time. I tried to read shadow and bone after but dnfd because it was much, much worse imo. I love that you’re dedicated to reading them but honestly you don’t have to !!! Especially if you’re not all that interested in it
I read the shadow and bone trilogy first and absolutel hated it, it was one of the only one star books that I have given. Its stopping me from picking up the six of crows duology and Im so upset about it.

GIRL!! Read the Dance of Thieves books I just finished the second one and I loved everything, and it was so easy to understand and get involved with the world.
I read, A Man Called Ove. I absolutely loved it. It's a wonderful story. Also, I read Six of Crows and now reading the next one. I never read those other books they said you should read first. And, I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything.
Read Bunny twice loved it even more the second time. I listened to the audiobook of I’m thinking of ending things and it was just wow.
omg i agree about ”thinking of ending things” i watched the movie and i felt so off and like depressed and i felt like nothing was real 😃
i’m currently reading before the coffee gets cold and it is amazing! i was kinda not expecting much at first but soon the story gets emotional and really captivating!
I like that this video is a potential TBR this way when I watch your September wrapup I won’t actually know what you will have had read!

Everyone’s already said it, but I’ll chirp in, A Man Called Ove (yes, pronounced o-vay) is the Best Book you’ll ever read!!!
Any of his books are!! Anxious People was awesome, too!
And Before the Coffee Gets Cold was sooo great!! Takes a minute to get the 10-12 Japanese names straight, but then the story gets deeper and I was crying at the end!! Very moving.
Also just finished today Love on the Brain. Soo good too!

I just finished Vow of Thieves last night, Dance of Thieves and Vow of Thieves were such great books. I really loved the characters and the story. There’s so much lore and world building. I absolutely loved it, so I definitely recommend.

Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe was turned into a movie this year. It’s seeing its world premiere in 2 days so that’s really exciting. As someone who is Mexican American and queer it means a lot to me and I think it will mean a lot to other people as well. Also the director is a Latinx trans woman who fought so hard to get the movie made so props to her.

You should definitely read Anxious People as well by Fredrick Backman, it is one of my favorite books and it touches on depression and anxiety in a way that made me feel seen. Also, i relate all too well to being a mood reader too

If you read acosf bare with it I hated nesta at the start she well annoyed me but as you go through the book you understand her more and it gets sooo good. I can also never stick to tbrs every time I try and make one
I forced myself to read the shadow and bone trilogy before six of crows too and it literally put me into a reading slump by the time I finally got to six of crows 🥺😫

I just finished a court of thorns and roses and I'm thinking of starting the next one, but it literally took me all of august to read A court of thorns and roses. So might hold off on that one. Anyways loved this video!

I read a man called ove last month it was an endearing story but I did find it slow pacing
Personally, I think it’s fine to skip the Shadow and Bone trilogy because I’ve never read them and the Six of Crows duology are some of my favourite books of all time! I got into them with a decent understanding of the fantasy world, it’s pretty informative and honestly wasn’t that difficult for me, and by the time I finished, I knew basically everything there is to know (what with my limited fantasy knowledge). So you don’t actually have to, but hope you enjoy anyway!
I am probs the moodiest mood reader ever I have like so many books on my tbr but continue to buy books I want to read in the moment then don’t get to them when I’m out of the mood. Currently reading 4 different books each a different genre for my different moods😅

I've been reading on Kindle and between unlimited free trial and Prime reading I haven't spent anything on books all summer and I've read 10-14 books a month. I am still about the paper book but at 20 a piece I would've spent hundreds on books this summer. Do you ever use Kindle? I'm really shocked by how much more I've been able to read and how easy it's been to switch genres on a whim without having to budget money and space for more books. I def think I'm going to purchase ones I really enjoy in hard copies because I do reread! Would love to know how you budget for books since it can be an expensive hobby especially with reading new releases!
