The corrugated paper idea is phenomenal! It's minimalist, modern, and has a classic feel to it. Not to mention inexpensive to make or buy, but very professional looking. Thank you for this!
Excellent methods for what I want to do. I learned a few better ways to do what I already touch up in my self taught habits. The retouch layer and blend colour method I will be using for sure. I am always gathering household and craft materials at the local dollar store to have a supply of inexpensive props. Not a criticism but an observation. Once I noticed something I couldn't not see it for the rest of the presentation. The two paper columns appear to lean in to each other at the top. For example if I zoom my screen so that the bottom separation is 12 cm, the top separation is 11.5 cm. Would that be a lens effect from the camera's height or the paper rolls being out of shape? I'm just curious.
Hi Skyler, can you share your go to lens for small products please? I often struggle with distortion and have tried 50mm, 85mm and 70-200mm lenses. Thank you
I really enjoy watching your channel. Your tutorials are so easy to understand. I've a question, these were plain paper you used for the Pillars so how did you get the ripples or lines in the Pillars
@@skylerewingphotography i am going to try this with my Canon 6d And 90Mm❤🔥☝ can u make tutorial for using hard lightning for product photography ....🔥☺

You could also composite. If you only have one light, use that and move it in different angles and composite in Photoshop
