I lace mine the same way. I may just leave the lace lock at the base of the neoprene sock on an occasional pair. Although one of my favorite J's is the Retro 6, I don't care for certain colorways. At 43, I'll be damned if I just put any reckless colorway of any of my go-to Jordan's on my seasoned feet.
