This is a beginner tutorial on closed basic silk fan veil moves. This includes extensions, weaves, tracers, and turns.
I am a flow artist with dance experience. This video is made from a Flow Arts Perspective. I am not a belly dancer. I have included a few links to fan veil Belly Dance tutorials.

The corkscrew move is sooo hard for me to comprehend! I get so confused watching you do it.

You can look at poi tutorials for this move if it is not clicking yet. Basically, the right hand leads, left follows. I've slowed it all down and showed each hand. But there might be another tutorial which is easier to see with poi.

Can you show the helicopter slowly from the back please? I found it too quick and the fans get tangled.

Very great! I have silk fans but their longer then all of the tutorials I saw, and recommendations??

Thank you ☺️. I have heard of people cutting them to a shorter length. You may need to stitch an edge on, otherwise it may fray. There are a few articles I googled: that you can research and TH-cam has tutorials on sewing/ hemming an edge. I haven't cut my own to be honest, but if it was too long, I would shorten it. Good luck xx
