I am 57, near 58... This Canadian group that was introduced to me in a particular time in my life by my daughter Malika became an icon in the list of my favourites group. And the list is long...!
54 here and I LUV THEM! Best new group to come out in a long time. It's nice to see/hear a super unique sound, not to mention ALL that talent in this band. Bucket list concert for me ... so much goin on on that stage!
Discovered them at 49 while living in Ontario in 2006-07. Saw them live in Chicago in 2011 with the National (great show!). Love all the albums, but think Reflektor may be the best. Afterlife resonates..."when love is gone, where do you go/where did it go?"
The tribute to Lou Reed at the end of Supersymmetry is fucking incredible
Songs from Reflector really are great. Hard to get for the first time, but then... I'm in awe. That's what music for.
I wonder if Win said to Régine, "We could make beautiful music together". If he did, he sure was right.

Afterlife is a great song. Its obvious that a lot of thought goes into this bands music and so great to see that there still is hope for todays music. Id love to see all those people who are against this try form a band and develop an original sound themselves like this band did. Good luck buddies x o x

Every part of it is perfect, the feeling they spread and bring each step of the way is perfect.
I usually only listen to punk and metal but thought I'd watch this to see what the big deal was with this band. I can't really get into the music but this concert does look like it was fun to attend. It is cool to see people dancing to the music instead of like punching each other like I'm more used to.

They truly are one of the greats. Nobody but Grateful Dead & Phish compare to their level of energy output, every performance. It's a beautiful stimulation to experience and it puzzles me how few have really connected with it. Less than ½ million views, seriously?
I love this Canadian Band since they were in Austin City Limits Austin TX they made it and all the bands they want to make it they come to Austin first like The black keys is good opportunity to come to Austin TX same for a lot of britts bands they come to Austin too like Arcade Fire they became popular after ACL(Austin City Limits)Arcade Fire I love them it makes me feel like dancing all the time well done guys you are the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)

For the best AF performances ever watch READING 2007, 2010 and MADISON Square Garden 2010,same tour. I watch both quite often. I have a current addiction to the pre Reflektor songs.

I will see them for the first time in March too!! First time for me and yes, STOKED AS HELL!! The first time I heard some of their stuff, I was like "naa" but the more I listen it just crawls into my head and does something to me!! Its really awesome and they are awesome musicians as well!

After watching the first three songs, it's obvious this was a badass show. I saw them in The Woodlands last week. It was great, but this one sounds a little more polished.
Supergroup living in the moment. Regine is super cute
The audience, in masks and costume, provided their own spectacle, adding to a concert that was classy, awesome in every way, except for the annoying ad blurbs in between the songs.

it's because Regine puts her whole being into her performance, what I noticed about them is that the live shows are so good because the whole band is dancing the entire time, they are so into it, which the crowd feeds off of
Well, they aren't "classically" great voices. Such as Bob Dylan or Kurt Cobain. However, I think Win has a really great voice when he chooses to utilize it to its full extent.

+Joochloe Imbault There's definitely a point to it. Besides being cool I think it is meant to be the anonymity of it. So instead of everyone paying attention to the band, the audience is paying attention to each other. Just a reflektor.....
Beatles and U2 both gave top of building concerts. Maybe their promoter or manager thought AF should stake a claim to greatness. I do love Reflektor, along with their earlier work, so no complaints here, but I'm not sure it fits their usual egalitarian vibe.

Amazing performance, the stage however was a bit to exaggerated I would have made it maybe 4.5 or 5 feet tall not 15 feet tall imagine the neck strain on the crowd.
there is lot of them on the stage….is it possible that neither one of them at 0:53:20 could hit this high tone in 'satellite of love' back vocal that bowie sings on 'transformer' in falsetto….it is not difficult to sing high tones in falsetto, and it does not strain the voice that way….do everything has to be dumbed down to mediocracy nowadays?
