Thank you a lot sir! My chemistry exam is tomorrow. Rlly helpful. I rlly needed this as my notes were so confusing but this video just made everything so clear.
Other soluble salts can also be prepared using reaction of acid and alkali (by titration). The problem is that it is very tedious and time consuming. It is not the BEST method to use because using an insoluble reactant (metal oxide / metal carbonate / metal) with acid will be much easier.
A base is defined as a substance that reacts with an acid to produce salt and water only. An alkali is a base. It reacts with acid to produce salt and water only. The difference is that alkalis are soluble bases. Bases can be soluble and insoluble. If a base is soluble and forms hydroxide ions when dissolved, it is an alkali. You can think of alkalis as a subcategory of bases.
Thanks sir it helps especially when this is a difficult topic
thank you.. very clear from the start!! great information
Thank you for the kind comments! 😊
this is great
perfect explanations
Very well explained sir
Thank you. I hope it helps you remember the method.

Nice video sir👍👍
Thank you 🙂
Thanks sir very well explained, now my concepts are clear
You're most welcome 😊
sir can't we just rinse the magnesium chloride crystals with and organic substance
Thanks sir🙏💯
You're most welcome 😁
Thank you sir. but can you please explain why other soluble salts cannot use Acid + Alkali to form salt?

@@MrRuelTuition i see thanks
@@MrRuelTuition Because rest of the metals do not make alkalis
Preparing Insoluble Salts Lecture plz
I have it here: th-cam.com/video/p6Gt0keITsE/w-d-xo.html
Tanx a lot sir. You're a life saver🤗🤗
You're most welcome! Thanks for dropping a comment. 😊
is calcium hydroxide base or an alkali??
It is a strong base.
It's nice I will be asking questions were not understood
Sure no problem!
really helped sir
thanks
I'm glad! You're welcome 😊
Thank you so much!
You're most welcome! 😊
Thank u bro so helpful
I'm glad it helped. 😊
Sir alkali ka identity ka vedio bana degia
Hi I'm sorry but I don't understand. Could you ask in English please?
@@MrRuelTuition Sir can you explain .how we can identify alkali and base in chemistry
