Sodium Pentothal, the go to 'truth serum' of every Hollywood movie /show. It has nothing to do with salt or blood pressure.
I liked that this season showed us both sides, like you could understand them, see their perspective and still wish they don't succeed. What i also love about this show is the realistic portrayal of intelligence officers, they do get tired like normal people and also not very skilled in hand to hand combat because they're not military people but intelligence officers.
it's heartbreaking that the first person Sri called when he was at his limit was Suchi meanwhile Suchi is 😭

They are not too far from the truth. In a war there are atrocities on both sides. They are highlighting the plight of the srilankan Tamil. They were mistreated since Sri Lankan independence, denied of political routes and humiliated, insulted and multiple hate crimes happened. some fraction of the Srilankan Tamils then started armed rebelion to get their own country and there was a civil war in Sri Lanka till 2009. Atrocities were done on both side and Sri Lanka was investigated for tamil genocide by the UN . Sri Lanka denies it, but we all know thats not the truth. 1 of India's prime minister was killed by the Srilankan tamil suicide bomber because they feared he will intervene on behalf of the Srilankan govt.
The show does a nuanced portrayal of both sides. You see that they are terrorist, but you also see what lead them to that path. Nothing is truly black or white but almost always shades of gray. You also see how TASC is forced to take non-ideal measures and how that weights on Srikant's conscious.
Please make reaction episodes 7 and 8 longer if it is possible. They are amazing. Would love to see more of your reaction.
