He even saved a whole French village and his whole Platoon, along with their French-counterparts when he 'told' them that the Germans launched their not-so-secret weapon: something that would allow a brutal death for the soldiers of the Entente-forces, the Mustard Gas. He was then promoted to the rank of Sergeant by Allied Supreme General J.G. Pershing, and was even awarded the purple heart and other civilian and non-militarized awards such as that of the event in 1921 (i can't recall😅). He even met the future Major Allied Gen. with the catchphrase "Guts and Glory!" George Patton when he was still a Cpl.
