- Google Nexus 6P has a strange boot loop issues. Which cause device to constantly reboot and stuck to android animation most of the times. see a possible demo and how to fix it.

Happened to me. Contacted support and they are willing to send me a new one. The problem is they will put the full cost of the phone on hold on your card till they get your old one back. which sucks because I dont have $500 just laying around. Im about to drop project fi. my nexus 6p only lasted 14 months
I'm facing the same issue and i'm stuck on to the android animation after executing all steps to recover from bootloop issues....can you please help me out.

my device died the very next day my warranty expired. I have an insurance for this device for second year though it doesn't cover manufacturing defects. any idea on how to proceed with?

My nexus 6p(rooted) is having the same problem of boot-loop and it's not restarting. I tried everything, but still it's only showing the google logo. Can you help me in this?

Can you please list the steps of this procedure?
I was installing some apk and it got stuck in boot loop. It's only showing google with lock on the screen and no animations are running(google animations). I also factory reset my phone, wipe all the cache and tried all of the above procedures.
+Lakshi Bhati unfortunately there is no steps. I just showed some ways u should try. That I have tried. Let the phone as it is until phone turns off. Start after that.

mine has the exact same problem, anything have worked yet. my 6P has locked bootloader so there's no much to try. This is my only chance, so wish me luck

running the battery down allowed it to properly boot. But it crashed more and more then running the batter down no longer worked. This is my 2nd phone. Now the company, Google, does not respond. They promise to respond, and do not. I am contemplating legal action.
+Jeremy Lansman there are lots of issues on it.
One Google customer support person told me they did not know what the problem was. Another said it was an overheating and solder problem. Regardless, the company should react by providing a different model communications device. Sending us a refurbished or even a new Nexus 6P is no solution unless they know what is wrong. In my case I have no mobile device, which for me is a serious loss of connectivity. The Nexus 6P was not used as a toy. Now it is a brick.

Only in some devices, I don't even get the boot animation I just get the Google logo....

Just happened to me, contacted support and they are doing an OUT OF WARRANTY replacement for free.

Akshay Vinod I was able to get replacement while 3 months with my warranty over, I used Project Fi support which is who I bought the phone through. I did bring up that others got theirs replaced as well without having warranty, if you look on the XDA forum you'll see that. just be confident and don't take no for an answer. Not sure how it works in your country as I know warranty laws vary quite a bit.
if any one still has the same problem do the following steps:
1. boot into fastboot
2. flash the latest twrp for angler
3. reboot into recovery(use vol buttons)
4. wipe>advanced wipe> then cache and dalvik cache
5. reboot and thats it will boot back to startup window
My device is locked and can't boot it up OEM is locked and usb debugging also any ways to unlock bootloader
