Hopefully, future writers won't know either.

Meh, for a gay character "fix" I agree with your videos on Scorpio in Defenders. There's a gay you can bank on! No way he's changing horses in midstream! Hey, this just occurs: in Defenders, when Iceman was having a flirtation with cloud, didn't he give her a damn hard time when "she" started turning male every so often (when "she" sneezed a winkie dropped out, or some such)?

People always point to Cloud as "proof" Iceman was gay. What proof? That he wasn't remotely attracted to her male form? He went off her the minute she changed gender. With Iceman and Robin, they always point to little things as proof and the proof is anything but.

Too many "stans" try avoiding the topic of identity politics, which is understandable. I'd like to avoid politics altogether. However, when these people do address it, it's usually to condemn the people who are trying to fight against it, because they're "complaining" about it.
Thank you for not being one of those people, and talking about this clearly and without any influences on your thinking.

I think at the end of the day, there's something more mentally satisfying about not engaging with the political or cultural baggage that a lot of comics or other media have. It's a miserable experience, tip-toeing around things or having to clarify every little thing because at either side of the argument are the absolute worst examples of people the world has to offer. I hate the Tim Drake stuff, maybe I didn't even get the extremity of how much I hate it across, but the minute I found out about it I was so angry I wanted to make a vidya about it and call out how awful it was and how degrading to representation it actually was. At the same time there were so many other people making quick vidyas pretending that they really care about Tim Drake because they need to farm their hate-clicks. They'd have made the exact same video if Jason Todd or Stephanie Brown or Carrie Kelley had been made gay. What's the point of even trying to think about the politics when there are people as uninvested as that drowning out the actual criticism.

When they made Tim Drake gay is right about the time I stopped collecting comics. I just couldn't continue giving my $ anymore to the SJW.

I'd already stopped long before then but it's not like you can detach yourself completely from where they're at now.

I know cause even though I haven't bought a comic book in over a year I still from time to time read articles that show up in my feed just to see what other stupid woke shit the writers will add.
