You asked in your other live bluegill episode to drop any tips. I grew up fish on the Chesapeake bay and their is a way to use a live fish without hooking it through the fish. I'll send you a video of the knot if your interested

I had the craziest experience fishing yesterday. I was throwing a bubblegum fluke in a pond, and I had a bite from a small bass. And then right before I set the hook, a four and a half pounder shot out from under the dock and tried eating the little bass I had on. I somehow managed to hook the big one and landed it(the little one somehow came off during the fight). It was insane

Get you a 6 foot castnet and catch some 5 to 7 inch gizzard shad hook them behind their dorsal fin and free line them with a 4/0 hook. When one eats it feed it line and count to 10 then set the hook! I catch biggins on pickwick like this.
