Tom Hardy is one of the best actor famously known for portraying various shades of character with perfection and beyond our imagination. Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk is going to be a smash hit !
@Batman's. Tom acted with great panache and brilliant execution in various shades of roles with perfection in movies like Dark Knight, Mad Max, The Revenant, Legend...& now in Dunkirk. He is one of the best!
Tom is such an intellectual and articulate person in every interview. He seems incredibly humble, and nice. And on screen the man is commanding, every second hes in frame he just oozes this sorta, control over the film. You cant help but love him. Nearly every movie hes in hes fantastic, and Nolan seems to be able to work well with him. Cant wait to see what the two of them get up to in the future.
The interviewer is great! He did his homework and seems geniunely interested, I love that! Makes it much enjoyable to listen for the answer, when the questions are well informed and interesting. Thanks!
I saw the movie last night and it's a 10/10, best movie of 2017. It gets so bloody suspenseful with terror, especially in the final third of the movie. So good
Nolan is one of the rare directors that really brings realism to his films even when he uses CGI you don't see those elements as he uses more practical effects.
Raghu Seetharaman agreed 100% the audio and visual effects make you feel like something is about to fly off and cut through you! I only get that vibe while watching a Christopher Nolan film.
Raghu Seetharaman the best CGI are the ones you can't tell. Nolan uses so much practical FX, and splashes CGI seamlessly... BTW, i saw Dubkirk in epic IMAX 70mm.
"40 people looking at you and an Imax camera squeezed in". "That's a lot better than flying them in the war". Right you are Tom. One of my favourite actors!
One of the best actors of our time, Tom Hardy is simply brilliant. No wonder Christopher Nolan - one of the best directors of our time - likes working with him.
Tom Hardy is my contemporary favorite actor. Though you don't see much more than his eyes in the film, Dunkirk, it's amazing just how much he conveys. Great /story and film, great filmmaker (Nolan), and great actor.
I knew after seeing him in Inception and then Warrior that he would gain a bunch of popularity if he stayed active. This guy is a living Legend. *no pun intended*
It was a magnificent film. Even a movie with very little dialogue which to be honest I've never seen before. I was just so engaged by the stories and the bravery of these men. Rip to all of those who passed in WW2. Because of them, we live the life we live. Respect to them❤️
Nice to have an interview where the host isn't trying to sound like he and tom are best friends and laughing at everything he says, just generally talking. They must get sick of that as actors. Nice interview
arcticridge ....but only to captured by the Nazi's and probably marched to a death camp where he's slaved, beaten and ultimately killed. I woulda crashed into the sea..
I thought it was a brave choice by Nolan to keep Hardy's mask on for the majority of his scenes. He trusted Hardy to deliver emotion through the eyes and movement, and thus connect with the audience, and Tom pulled it off.
Can't wait to see him as venom! Kinda sad cause I thought he was the only one who can play wolverine since Hugh retired 😭 but he's great actor, one of the best today and one of my favorite actor today.
One of my favourite actor's along with Denzel Washington. Leonardo DiCaprio. But character acting bronson , the Krays and now he's in Dunkirk flying a SPITFIRE one of if not thee best airplane of time . Makes me proud to b British .. 👍👌
I first seen him play 'Shinzon' in Star Trek Nemesis playing a young Picard. Then I seen him beef up to play Bronson. I loved Locke, just him and a great script, no effects, brilliant. Looking forward to seeing this in the week.
guitarman0365 First third of mad max, all of dark night rises, and all of Dunkirk, he had a mask over his mouth. Nolan apparently loves Hardys eyebrows and forehead
Just seen film today and what a stunning achievement Chris Nolan has made for the veteran of the evacuation it is an amazing production with a perfect cast. Please everyone lets all shout out towards the Monarchy and vote Chris Nolan for an MBE the man deserved it. I understand other people out there deserve recognition awards and let them have it but give Chris Nolan some award for having the courage to do this film in our age of CGI and Comic book heroes. I salute you Chris and are brave heroes
I grew up on a farm where the DLI (Durham Light Infantry) were billeted just before D-Day, on a wooden granary wall was a beautiful pencil drawing of the DLI's cap badge..
Tom Hardy if you read comments I want you to know you did very well in the movie. I would bet your Grandfather would be very proud of you being in this movie.
Seeing actors respect for Chris alone gives me goosebumps, I don't understand the bad reviews when you see the colossal work Nolan puts into a film on every minor detail to ensure his vision just to have some Transformers fan sat at home complaining about his films being boring
Tom Hardy is one of the best actor famously known for portraying various shades of character with perfection and beyond our imagination. Christopher Nolan's Dunkirk is going to be a smash hit !
T. G. good character actor like Leo.😄
Absolutely. One of the best modern actors out there right now.
T. G. It's not
@Batman's. Tom acted with great panache and brilliant execution in various shades of roles with perfection in movies like Dark Knight, Mad Max, The Revenant, Legend...& now in Dunkirk. He is one of the best!
T. G. DUNKIRK is an absolute masterpiece!
"how did you get involved with this?"
it's a chris nolan film.
Tom is such an intellectual and articulate person in every interview. He seems incredibly humble, and nice. "... it's a lot better than flying them in a war ..." the man also has perspective. Nice.
His humility is so great. Really nice guy.
Tom hardy is one of the best actor working right now in Hollywood
Without a doubt!
His name is almost as good at selling a movie for me, as Nolan.
I haven't seen much of his work but by what I've seen so far the actor seems amazing.
watch Warrior, excelent movie
..... one of the best actor right now in the world!
@@jylyhughes5085 True

Raghu Seetharaman "Nolan used realism"
* doesn't use blood in a war movie*
Yeah fucking right
Paul Allen that's why he is a master. So many directors paint the scenes with blood and guts. Anyways I saw blood in Dunkirk coming from the boys ear!
Brendan Ryan there would be a lot more than blood out of someone's ear in war, boy... you don't know anything about war I assume
"It's a lot better than flying them in the war." His humility and lack of ego is really warming.
A lot of people would take the opportunity to complain about it lol
Finally, an interview with Tom! God, I adore that man!
I'm gay for him...but only him tho
Autism and Chill your name says it all.
He is my man crush
I just w a t c h *Dunkirk* _bit.ly/2CqWAyx_ and now i w a t c h i n g it again with my sister.oh God, i'm so excited !
Tom did it again; eye-acting to a different level! BRAVO
Poor dude always has a mask on his face, but it shows that he's a great actor, almost all of Dunkirk he's acting with his eyes
Ryan Maddigan "It would be extremely painful"
he did played once unmasked....in band of brothers pvt janovec....
legend? Bronson? peaky blinders?
"40 people looking at you and an Imax camera squeezed in". "That's a lot better than flying them in the war". Right you are Tom. One of my favourite actors!
'It's a lot better than flying them in a war'.... Thumbs up, Tom!
great cast between cillian Murphy and Tom hardy 2 great actors
He is one of the best to ever do it period.
One of the best actors of our time, Tom Hardy is simply brilliant. No wonder Christopher Nolan - one of the best directors of our time - likes working with him.
Tom Hardy is such a intense actor.
I have no words to explain why he is one of the greatest actor´s of his generation.
One of the best actors ever and a genuinely good dude. Will watch him in anything he does.
I could listen to that voice all day.
His voice... gaawwwwwd. Tom could make history by being the only actor to ever have his eyes nominated for an Oscar. (Hey, it could happen)
Jane Barnes oh yeah :)
Tom Hardy the most humble actor going. Such a legend!
one of the best (if not the best) actors out there .such an amazing man
3:34 "it's a lot better than flying them in the war". There's a lad with his head on straight. Well said, Tom.
Last scene with Tom Hardy and the Spitfire got me.
He’s so soft spoken ❤️
Tom Hardy is my contemporary favorite actor. Though you don't see much more than his eyes in the film, Dunkirk, it's amazing just how much he conveys. Great /story and film, great filmmaker (Nolan), and great actor.
I think the spitfire sequence will be my favorite sequence for this film. I think that sequence with RAF will be the highlight for this film.
Great interview. Love Tom Hardy, and he was the standout for me in Dunkirk.
The air scenes were amazing. So much drama portrayed in a simple way. Great acting skills🇮🇪
I hope he is the next James Bond
I'm still hoping for Christian Bale...
D-B-A nah rather see him as nick stone
No, he's a bit rough to play Bond, I was thinking of Tom Hiddleston.
Nah, he's above that.
Jolo Jorn you do know that the book James Bond is very very rough, right?
Really looking forward to the second season of Taboo. This guy is pure gold.
I knew after seeing him in Inception and then Warrior that he would gain a bunch of popularity if he stayed active. This guy is a living Legend. *no pun intended*
Good interview and an exceptional actor!!! I can listen to him for hours and hours....
Every role he has taken,he give's it all mad max, taboo bane etc he's in a different league 👍
what a beautiful specimen
Aww Tommy charming as usual x
You are ridiculous ask him first seriously!!!! what kind of comment is that?
I could watch this man driving a car for an hour and half. 😁❤
His voice is amazing and the movie is so good. They all did an amazing job.
It was a magnificent film. Even a movie with very little dialogue which to be honest I've never seen before. I was just so engaged by the stories and the bravery of these men. Rip to all of those who passed in WW2. Because of them, we live the life we live. Respect to them❤️
A very polite and down to earth person
Nice to have an interview where the host isn't trying to sound like he and tom are best friends and laughing at everything he says, just generally talking. They must get sick of that as actors. Nice interview
Hardy and Nolan have yet to disappoint. Venom can't get here soon enough.
tom hardy is made from magic. it's the only explanation for the performances he gives in every movie... o.O
Stand out last as an equal common HERO!!..breathless..
for anyone that hasn't seen it yet, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING GO NOW. it's the best movie i've seen all year, cinematography 10/10, acting 10/10
I'm seeing it tomorrow afternoon, can't wait.
anyone else cry with joy when he landed his plane :.)
arcticridge ....but only to captured by the Nazi's and probably marched to a death camp where he's slaved, beaten and ultimately killed. I woulda crashed into the sea..

I listened to this twice so that both my ears can hear it.
One of my favourite actor's along with Denzel Washington. Leonardo DiCaprio. But character acting bronson , the Krays and now he's in Dunkirk flying a SPITFIRE one of if not thee best airplane of time . Makes me proud to b British .. 👍👌
I would like to argue that but carry on
"He's on me!"
"I'm on him."
MrHurch Orgy quotes.
Tom Hardy. Such a man. ❤❤❤❤❤
Geezer. Taboo was an intelligent series , Hope he makes a second season ..Loved it
Could we just acknowlege both the professionalism and the quality of the interviewer. Very well done.
"Yeah, spitfires are a bit snug." Wonderful British understatement.
There's always something intimidating about him, like he's gonna knock the interviewer out any second 😂
I swear Tom Hardy and Nolan must be best friends. He's literally in every one of Nolans films lol. Not complaining, just funny to see.
jeff smith I actually don't think he started appearing in Nolan's films until Inception
I first seen him play 'Shinzon' in Star Trek Nemesis playing a young Picard. Then I seen him beef up to play Bronson. I loved Locke, just him and a great script, no effects, brilliant. Looking forward to seeing this in the week.
Tom Hardy + undercut = brilliant
This guy is the king of accents in movies lol
Always a pleasure Mr Hardy.
I thought this was Michael Caine as the interviewer lol
The best eyebrow actor in hollywood I say lol
guitarman0365 how can you not notice his lips?
guitarman0365 Jack Black?
Haha, let them compete :D
guitarman0365 Id say that would be Michael Fassbender actually
guitarman0365 First third of mad max, all of dark night rises, and all of Dunkirk, he had a mask over his mouth. Nolan apparently loves Hardys eyebrows and forehead

"it's a lot better than flying them in the war", subtle destruction of the interviewer's unwanted quibs.
a really good actor, amazing man
TABOO-----------------------What a great tv series. Can't wait for season two.
I love his respect for WW2. Great actor, great guy.
just a master and well respected reporter, overall very nice
I grew up on a farm where the DLI (Durham Light Infantry) were billeted just before D-Day, on a wooden granary wall was a beautiful pencil drawing of the DLI's cap badge..
Best character in the film.
TheRubberStudiosASMR I can't even remember him in the film
"Dunkirk" would become one of the best anti-war movies.
Tom Hardy if you read comments I want you to know you did very well in the movie. I would bet your Grandfather would be very proud of you being in this movie.
Tom Hardy is a young British Brando. Totally immerses himself.
Tom you are needed for my next film.
This movie was intensely awesome!
Seeing actors respect for Chris alone gives me goosebumps, I don't understand the bad reviews when you see the colossal work Nolan puts into a film on every minor detail to ensure his vision just to have some Transformers fan sat at home complaining about his films being boring
Tom is a legend ❤
What a lovely, lovely face 3:19 - 3:23
first seen tom in a show called the take he played a madman gangster very well
Not much to brag about my home town of stoke-on-trent but the birth of the spitfire is one of them.
Thanks Tom great interview
What a sound of the voice !
Харди обалденный ❤
Dunkirk is definitely one of the best films I've scene all summer. I don't know if that will be contradicted when I see baby driver, though.
love his style!
One of the best films I've ever seen
Tom Hardy, nailed it, nailed it, nailed it on this Movie
My left ear enjoyed this
3:56 It is just me or does his forearm look fucking massive?
