I had one of these years ago. Didn't know how to use it properly then and I didn't play a lot of Keith riffs. Sold it. A new one arrived this week. Initially, again I was underwhelmed. My problem though was the amp, I was running it into a clean THR10 at the time. I just ran it into Bias Amp 2 on my Macbook, wow what a difference when running into a Blackface 65 amp ! Night and day, it sounded awesome. So did my other pedals. Running a Vibranaut 5k and half a Duellist into the twin setting of the Les Lius with a strat was sublime. So it's definitely going on the keep list.
Hey Seb-Just bought one of these based on your video, as need a tweed sound, but don't need the empty wallet and bad back that comes with it LOL! Great review, sweet licks and great commentary. Thanks!

Loved the demo! I didnt think I would want one of these up until watching this video tbh... I loved how you were able to nail basically every american blues tone with this pedal ala: freddy king, SRV, ect. On the chula setting (switch all the way left) I could hear some Allman brothers type tone! Or is that just me?
I really enjoyed this demo! You found tones I hadn't found on mine yet. Questions- were you using batteries, 9volt or 18volt adapter? From my experience the 18 gives more headroom. Again- really great demo.
Why are there different toggle switch variants ? Mine seems to be left-5e3/middle-HPTT/right-Tchula. Its gold version with black stamp. Saw the manual that gave this toggle switch layout, yet many are opposite way around... any ideas why ? Guie the gadgie a phone and ask him would you ?
Do you think this would do the early ZZ thing or what would you recommend checking out/trying to do that early ZZ BFG thing? I’m mostly using a Supro BM. Great playing as usual!

Meaning, my paperwork says all the way to the left is 5E3, middle is Twin, and all the way to the right is Tchula... Anyone have any ideas? Also, Are these marked with a serial number, or left blank inside the chassis? Anyone know the answers? Thanks

TY so much and Rock on! This here is one of the best reviews I've seen on YT because it is so unproduced and you get a super accurate feel and sense of how the pedal really sounds. I agree with Anthony Campbell below - if you could mic up your sound into an interface it would be even better and so totally worth it ;) Cheers
This pedal has a great tone but it makes terrible background noises with the amp. I have an EVH-Amp. Even on the little Roland cube there is the noise. I can ´t use the pedal! 😭 What can I do?
may or not may be your case, but my pedals stopped making background noise when I switched to isolated power sources. Now I use voodoolab 4x4 and even with two ODs and a fuzz on top of it I have very low noise
I have that same pedal and I have a question for you, when both side are on, the gain control (right side) only change something if you turn it past 75 or 80%, from 0 to 75% it don't change anything at all, is that the case as well for your pedal?

Everything sounds better played on a tube amp. No wonder why you liked it more.

Amazing pedal - I own one & use. Only thing is it needs volume to really work. But it's integral part of my sound...

Is your les lius a golden case or beige case？My is beige case，and the setting is same as yours.
Mine is beige, and I'm pretty sure right is Deluxe, left is Tchula, but I got it used with no manual...

This pedal has a great tone but it makes terrible background noises with the amp. I have an EVH-Amp. Even on the little Roland cube there is the noise. I can ´t use the pedal! 😭 What can I do?

Camille Duclos great pedal I had one but the toggle broke and putting in a new toggle changed the whole pedal :/
What amp were you playing through? If you mentioned it in the video, I missed it.
About 11:35 he waves and says something vague about playing through a Marshall or a Marshall Clone.
the LP was out of tune- you sounded great on the Strat though!!
