Are you using gckey? If you do so, I believe there are "supporting documents" then it shows Family Information (IMM5645) (required) then instructions and then options and on the options says "UPLOAD FILE"

Family information is required when you apply BUT it only needs to be included in the IMM5645 form if you are applying using GCKey. If you are applying using the IRCC online forms, they will ask you to enter that information into the online forms, so you don't have to submit the IMM5645 form. Depending on the type of application you are doing, some people are creating family trees and uploading that to IRCC to show the family connection as an example.

You need to make sure there is no gaps in your entries from when you were 18. So you must make sure that every date range is covered. If you were unemployed during a time then you'd show that, if you were in university then you'd show that. You need rows for it all. Hi, no I would not recommend that. The additional documents which are required for GCKEY are to provide the information you will be required to enter into your IRCC application. IRCC is a safer route because it prompts you to provide all the information meaning there is less chance for mistakes. There is a tab in IRCC called documents where you will upload all the required documents such as Invitation Letter, Itinerary, bank statements, etc, you'll do this near the end of your application. Just keep progressing with your application and you'll get to that step 👍

Hi I'm the one who is talking in the video. Just want to let you know if you're planning to apply next year, you don't need to create a new account. You can use the same account you used way back in 2019, then please don't forget to address your refusal/denial because IRCC will still be checking the refusal if you address it and submit all the documents they request or want to be satisfied with for sure you will be approved. Hi! What I chose was to visit my parents, who are permanent residents. It's too long, but something like that. It's the second above what you choose. In the supporting documents, there's no letter of invitation to upload. It's a national ID, and the other 2 are the same (passport and proof). Since we have different reasons, is that why we have different documents to upload? Btw, optional documents are the same. I hope you notice my comment. Thank you.
Hi Sarenhae, yes that's correct. Because you selected to visit your parents you have different documents to upload. In your case, they are more focused on you proving your relationship to your parents.

When you have entered in all the information one of the last tabs in the process is "Documents", this comes after the Summary tab. In the Documents Tab you will see a spot for the letter of invitation to be uploaded. 😀 In this tab, you will see all the other places to upload documents, so it will be more clear which documents you should group together. To see this section in the video, go to 26:21. Additionally, if you do not see the Tab you may have selected the wrong option for the question "Why do you need a visa", timestamp: 4:25

Based on my experience you choose "to visit a family who are not listed above or friends for less than 6 months" So that during documents submission you will have a bar button wherein you can attach your invitation letter coming from your fiance. Take note this is very important if you were invited by your fiance to your invitation letter coming from him with his signature. Goodluck!

Nice question, for you to prove a familyties outside canada you can used your family, (e.g your parents, siblings, wife, son/daughter, relatives), during your application on your Statement or purpose or letter of intent, you must provide a proof like there birth certificate showing a proof that your blood related to them or marriage certificate if you will used your wife/husband as your familyties and birth certificate for your kids.
What is the issue you are having? Usually we run into file size limit issues so we have to use a PDF converter to shrink the file by optimizing it. You can usually find free ones online. I don't think uploading pictures of your document is wise, not sure how they would react to that
@@preciouskadiri9506 Usually we are taking the images and attaching them into a word document which we then convert to PDF. Or if you pay for a PDF software, you can directly post your images into the PDF itself
You won’t have an invitation letter then and you wouldn’t be applying for a visitor visa. Instead you would be applying for a tourist visa which allows you to do all the same things but requires different documents. @@queenqueen6128 no you don't. I would suggest you don't do it either because your visa application could take long and changing or moving flight tickets will cost you money. Better to just wait until your visa is approved then make your flight plans :)

If they are minors you can include them into the same letter of intent. I'm assuming this is a family applying (mother, father and kids), you can have a single letter of intent.

@@RKK964 When you are doing your application in IRCC, you enter the family information into the website itself. You do not need to provide that form. The family information you provide can be a family tree, photos, etc which you would attached as supporting documents. If you are applying via GCKey then you need all these different IMM forms however this is not what we did in the video, we used IRCC which does not require them
I applied for my bf application like what you did but I cant recall na naglagay kami ng brothers and sisters nya sa website. Naremember ko lang sa family info nilagay namin is mother and father nya and son.. but brothers and sisters i cant remember. Sa Additional Docs we didnt put any family tree..

Yes you can apply from the USA or any other country. Paying the visa fees is the last thing you do before submitting, it is best to make sure all information is done correctly before processing the payment and submitting the application. You can provide correction or changes to the information after you submit but it's more difficult and requires a web form submission. Easiest to just make sure it's correct before submitting.

how can application expired? if your application is ongoing and just waiting for the result and takes time for the result but it doesn't mean that is already expired.

Even though I have selected the option for the question "Why do you need a visa": To visit my grandparent, grandchild, sibling, half-sibling, step-sibling or non-dependent child who is a Canadian citizen, person registered under Canada's Indian Act or permanent resident of Canada. I don't know what's that document, if you can please help me with this issue. And for more information, I am a citizen of 2 countries, one citizenship that have since birth and the other one, since 2018 that I got from my mom who is a citizen of that country. I don't know if this issue is because of that. I hope you can help me. Thank you so much!! :)
You are not seeing it because you selected a different reason for why you need a visa. You need to select the same one as shown in the video “to visit other family member not listed above or friend less then 6 months”. It doesn’t matter if the person your visiting is permanent resident or not, choose that option and in your invitation letter you will explain who you are visiting and why

If you don’t have any invitation from your sibling then you don’t need to attach it or worry about it. You can keep with the option you had. If you want to have a letter of invitation then you’ll need to do that other option and ask your sibling to send you one. Since this is your sibling you have a stronger case why you are visiting and you need to include all this information in your letter of intent.
Yes, you can upload all documents and complete all the information required before you pay. You only pay at the end when going to submit your application

@@AS.MA_ Asma, you can not say they saw or didn't see your employment letter, etc. The office does not provide this information so you have no bases to make that statement. Whenever you are submitting any document, you need to make sure to clearly label every document. We have seen over and over again people who got refused and submitted 20-30 documents or more but didn't provide any label or description of what each document is. People seem to expect the office has hours to go through their applications but they don't. They have hundreds of applications coming to them in a week. whenever you submit any application you need to make it as EASY as possible for them. I don't know your situation but keep that in mind when you apply again in the future

A letter of invitation needs to come from a family member or friend who you know in Canada who wants to invite you. You can't just request someone to give you one who you just met, you'll get denied for sure

@@crisjim6719 No. No IMM forms are required if your using the IRCC Portal. Only GCKey requires IMM forms

yes correct. Cousins are not considered a close family tie so they are treated basically the same as a friend

So that during documents submission you will have a bar button wherein you can attach your invitation letter coming from your fiance. Take note this is very important if you were invited by your fiance to your invitation letter coming from him with his signature.

Kasi ganun din po ginawa ko choose "friend" sa part na yan but deneclare sa invitation letter and letter of intent na "fiancee"

Nice question, for you to prove a familyties outside canada you can used your family, (e.g your parents, siblings, wife, son/daughter, relatives), during your application on your Statement or purpose or letter of intent, you must provide a proof like there birth certificate showing a proof that your blood related to them or marriage certificate if you will used your wife/husband as your familyties and birth certificate for your kids.

What is the issue you are having? Usually we run into file size limit issues so we have to use a PDF converter to shrink the file by optimizing it. You can usually find free ones online. I don't think uploading pictures of your document is wise, not sure how they would react to that

You won’t have an invitation letter then and you wouldn’t be applying for a visitor visa. Instead you would be applying for a tourist visa which allows you to do all the same things but requires different documents. @@queenqueen6128 no you don't. I would suggest you don't do it either because your visa application could take long and changing or moving flight tickets will cost you money. Better to just wait until your visa is approved then make your flight plans :)

If they are minors you can include them into the same letter of intent. I'm assuming this is a family applying (mother, father and kids), you can have a single letter of intent.

@@RKK964 When you are doing your application in IRCC, you enter the family information into the website itself. You do not need to provide that form. The family information you provide can be a family tree, photos, etc which you would attached as supporting documents. If you are applying via GCKey then you need all these different IMM forms however this is not what we did in the video, we used IRCC which does not require them

Yes you can apply from the USA or any other country. Paying the visa fees is the last thing you do before submitting, it is best to make sure all information is done correctly before processing the payment and submitting the application. You can provide correction or changes to the information after you submit but it's more difficult and requires a web form submission. Easiest to just make sure it's correct before submitting.

@@navjotdhiman4776 Invitation letters have different tabs. You should be seeing an "Invitation letter" then attach the file for the invitation letter on that TAB.

For us it said 30 days and it actually took 30 days. We did follow up at the 28 day mark, not sure if that affected it or not

Hii!! Thank you for sharing this video!! I hope you respond to my question. I am already at the documents part. In your video, there was a tab for "Letter of Invitation" but in mine, the first tab is "Immigration status (proof)" and there's no tab for Letter of invitation. Even though I have selected the option for the question "Why do you need a visa": To visit my grandparent, grandchild, sibling, half-sibling, step-sibling or non-dependent child who is a Canadian citizen, person registered under Canada's Indian Act or permanent resident of Canada. I don't know what's that document, if you can please help me with this issue. And for more information, I am a citizen of 2 countries, one citizenship that have since birth and the other one, since 2018 that I got from my mom who is a citizen of that country. I don't know if this issue is because of that. I hope you can help me. Thank you so much!! :)
You are not seeing it because you selected a different reason for why you need a visa. You need to select the same one as shown in the video “to visit other family member not listed above or friend less then 6 months”. It doesn’t matter if the person your visiting is permanent resident or not, choose that option and in your invitation letter you will explain who you are visiting and why

If you don’t have any invitation from your sibling then you don’t need to attach it or worry about it. You can keep with the option you had. If you want to have a letter of invitation then you’ll need to do that other option and ask your sibling to send you one. Since this is your sibling you have a stronger case why you are visiting and you need to include all this information in your letter of intent.

@@AS.MA_ Asma, you can not say they saw or didn't see your employment letter, etc. The office does not provide this information so you have no bases to make that statement. Whenever you are submitting any document, you need to make sure to clearly label every document. We have seen over and over again people who got refused and submitted 20-30 documents or more but didn't provide any label or description of what each document is. People seem to expect the office has hours to go through their applications but they don't. They have hundreds of applications coming to them in a week. whenever you submit any application you need to make it as EASY as possible for them. I don't know your situation but keep that in mind when you apply again in the future

A letter of invitation needs to come from a family member or friend who you know in Canada who wants to invite you. You can't just request someone to give you one who you just met, you'll get denied for sure
