I’ve worked it out! The multiples are 8 + 8 + 8 keep doing 8 chains for as wide as you want but don’t do the + 3 that was throwing me out. When you’ve finished doing as many sets of 8 chain then begin the 1st row by double crocheting into the 5th chain from the hook. Your pattern will start with 6DC and end with 6 DC with sets of 7DC in the middle. Keep doing the sets of 7Dc until you get to the end where you will finish with 6DC. The 2nd and 3rd rows are straight forward just follow her along and it will all make sense. It’s a very pretty pattern I love it….thank you to the author for sharing 😊

Waste of my time watching all your work - you have beautiful patterns of which none can be made without proper instructions - I have tried many times to write them out but they are poor to say the least.
I have to agree with you I can’t work the starting chains out the multiples of 8 don’t work to get the 6 7 7 6 pattern something very wrong there. You can work it out if you chain a sample but it does take time
