    Loved the Not Now John solo at the start! It's an under-rated Gilmour masterpiece.

    I love mine. Had to tweak a bit the trimpots as with the mix at 50%, it feels like the volume drops a bit (Gilmourish pointed out that it was actually lowering the top end when lowering the mix). But it's a very good pedal overall! Great demo!

      I'm so glad you mentioned this!! I just got this pedal and I also feel like I'm getting a volume drop when it's at the end of my chain. So crank those trimpots huh?

    Hello Mustafa! your channel is great! I'm a big Pink Floyd fan. This is not the first year I have been searching for the sound of David Gilmour. Your videos helped me a lot! Thank's man! I wanted to ask - will you have a video with the Keeley Dark Side guitar processor?

    • @mustyguitar
      @mustyguitar  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      thank you! I will make a video if I can get my hands on one. I can't find in Istanbul and I contacted Keeley. They didn't respond me, which made me sad a bit

    You’re an big inspiration to me, Musty. What would be a cheaper alternative to the Boss RT20? Greetings from Brazil!! I’ve just bought the BD2, Green Russian and Ensemble King to start my gilmour board.

  • @kkfurtado
    @kkfurtado ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Nice job, mate! How does this compare to the Boss RT-20 sound wise? I know they have different premises, but I can hear a lot of similarities on the tone. (I have the RT-20). 😅

    • @mustyguitar
      @mustyguitar  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well, for me (and for a mono setup), both sound very close but PULSE has 1 mix knob but rt-20 has a dry and wet knob. so it's a little better to set for your sound.
      I'm not saying one is better than other, having one of them is a MUST, but you decide which one. if you have one of them, don't buy the other one, that would be my advice.

    I just recieved this pedal today and have to say it's great!! Sadly it is very expressive for just a mod pedal... :(
    Now i see you play on a Laney 12 r which is a actually an 15 W Tube amp which is not a 1 W amp, because I was still wondering with just 1 Watt you actually need an amp... :p ;)
    Great David Gilmour playing btw!!
    Grts From Belgium ;)

    • @mustyguitar
      @mustyguitar  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I use the 1w input on the amp. It's significantly lower volume and lower headroom. I don't know about the new versions of the amp but mine has 2 inputs, 15w and 1w. I use 1w input

    Right now I have two pedals I use for Gilmour’s rotary tones- a Danelectro Big Spender (which is more of a Leslie sim), and a clone of the Boss CE-2 (set up differently than how he used his). It gets me close, but one day I hope to snag a RT-20 (BOSS, if you’re reading this- reissue that pedal, like you did with the Space Echo!!) or PULSE if I find one at a friendly price.
    As for a “Gilmour in a box” pedal, which do you think is closer/ more useful for capturing the tones- the newer Tech 21 English Muffy, or the Keeley Dark Side?

    • @mustyguitar
      @mustyguitar  ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't have experience with the first one you said, keeley dark side is a great pedal that I don't own right now cause I can't find in Istanbul. If I were to get 1 pedal and 1 pedal only, it'd be dark side
      though, I've contacted Keeley Electronics and they didn't even answer me about a dealer though, made me cry a bit :(

    • @chrisradzion2148
      @chrisradzion2148 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mustyguitar I’ve never owned one. The effects are good, but you can only use one modulation/time based effect at a time; all the modulation and delay are on one side, and the other is a fuzz/Muff. I think it does have an effects loop though.

    • @mustyguitar
