got to visit japan because of this song. always wanted to give up because of the pandemic but told myself to keep going. that was 2024. met so many people and made so many memories because of this song. thank you tssf!!!
Same! For me, this February 2024, I visited places that are in this MV while listening to the song. To this day, I still can't believe I went on a solo trip to Japan.
My choices let down Some of my closest people But I'm gaining back ground I'm forcing myself to get better by fall Will you be there if I fall? this line hits me like a truck ❤💯
The way its shot with just Parker throughout Japan, no cuts to live band scenes is pretty dope! I dig it a lot. Feels more emotional with the lyrics too, really great work guys, super 8 cinematography is a sic add on too!
Actually this guitar run always reminds me of stones roses. It’s amazing how they were able to convert something so classic into a whole lot different genre and still sounds fresh and original. Proves they got the taste and true talent.
These lyrics are so honest and transparent for someone struggling with drugs or addiction. Parker is singing here to someone he wants to rely on for help... Nothing worse than being at your lowest of lows without someone to support you. Be kind to those who love you, we all need saving eventually.
This album, and especially this track, was one of my biggest inspirations to finally get sober. It reminded me so much of the lows I was at at the time I first heard it, and gave me hope that I could get better. I'm 9 days sober now. Not entirely because of this album, but it definitely played a huge role. I can't thank this band enough.
Keep going legend! keep staying sober ive been clean from drugs for over 5 years now and couldnt be happier! it was a long and hard road to walk but i got there if I can do it you can do it too!
"Clear your head" and "Leave your bed" are some of the lines that describe this music video perfectly.Parker wants himself to get up and leave his bed and clear his head by walking.I think majority of people go for a walk when they want to clear their head and thats why the music video shows Parker walking.(I am sorry if I made any mistakes english is not my first language.)
This album screams “acceptance” following denial, anger, bargaining, and depression. I love it. The outro always gives me chills. If you could put that feeling of being able to smile again after so long, into music, it would be 2:45 😺
When i pass i hope someone discovers this song and it brings them some solace like it does for me when my mom passed away i love you mom and anyone else here is going through a hard time i love you too even if i dont know you
As a Japanese and one of The Story So Far fan, I have to say that this is freakin beautiful. This gave me a feeling that I have never felt. Keep up guys! Thank you for this awesome song and music video. Lov u
Been in love with this album when it first came out. Just got home from my first trip to Japan and visited most of these places. This music video feels like the best souvenir I could ask for.
This video expresses Japanese culture and beauty very well. And today's Japan is also expressed truly. Thank you for making it beautiful. I am grateful. From Japanese men.
This song literally brought tears to my eyes. In 2015 I almost died from aspirated pneumonia brought on by drinking away anxiety. To this day I’m still fighting to learn how to walk. ❤️
Grew up with these guys. They defined my 20's. Coming near 30, and even the new songs inspire a vibe from back then. There's not a single feeling I experienced I cannot trace back to their music. I'll always love these guys. Thanks for being a part. Cheers from Belgium!
Blaaah seems pretty well-liked by most everyone I’ve seen online lol especially not that’s it been out several months and it’s grown on the few people who hated it at first
I struggled with a lot of the same issues as Parker and just want to say this album really helped me through some of my darkest times. Music is the perfect medicine. Pure bliss.
This whole album has helped me through a lot this last year. It’s been my go to for reflection during tumultuous times, like the self titled before it. Thank you 🙏🏻
I agree, probably second to Under Soil and Dirt for me but very close second. Still really good and couldn't hate a single song. This is a masterpiece!
I recently just moved back home from a verbally abusive marriage and currently going through a divorce, it was so hard to finally accept fate and I made the choice to finally leave. I’m so happy I did, this song and band is everything for me going through all of this.
I waited so long for this video 😍❤️🔥😩. To See Parker walking around singing looking happy is all good 💯. Tssf forever . My fav band . This is one of their best songs ever .
As a Japanese TSSF fan seeing this video first time has really surprised me because 70% of this video is filmed in place I used to walk everyday. God I should have gone to their Japan tour..
This is my favorite song on the album This album has helped me get and stay clean and I’ve got 151 days today. Love the album, love the video and so proud of Eric and how far he’s come in the almost 15 years I’ve known him
I know it might sound selfish to say but I’m glad Parker went through what he did because it’s lead to some of the best songs and most sincere lyrics I’ve ever heard from TSSF.
I can of get that “old film nostalgia” feeling. It’s like remembering how great things were years ago, and seeing them in that early 2000’s video footage definitely gave me that feeling. Especially of being somewhere so beautiful and amazing as Japan
This band has aged very well. Thank you for representing Northern California so well after all these years. I can still remember all the old angsty shows back in the day with less than 100 kids.
The Story So Far .... I met you in Osaka on this tour ... thank you for being nice enough to talk to me. I have my signed poster and album hanging in pride of place in my house.
Thank God for this band. I went to rehab a year ago and remember how boring I used to think this song was. After I left, I couldn't help but cry as soon as I listened to it again having gained an entirely new perspective. It gets me in a way that most will never understand and for that I can never repay them. Thanks so much.
Parker makes me feel so many feelings and idk why but this made me nostalgic, these past few years listening to this band has helped me through a lot 🖤 I love you guys
Pop-punk went from “a story about a girl & everything is a party” to adult conversations about addiction and self reflections. Pop-punk just sorta grew up.
Took an hour to sit in the grass of my backyard while the sun warmed my skin to this record. It resonates so hard. True acceptance, and forward movement vibes and goddamn is it lovely. When I listen to this record, it makes me a better person. Seems like that’s the case for everyone commenting. So, TSSF, looks like you changed the world❤️
These lyrics are so painfully relatable. I've been an addict for 14 years and it cost me the most important relationship I ever had, with my wife of ten years. We have a son together and Im currently in the process of getting off methadone, going through withdrawals but determined to gain back ground ❤️
The story so far writes great music because a lot of it comes from real struggle and addiction. If music was always happy and everything went right, nobody could really relate.
Gotta be honest, during my teenage years i only know 2 TSSF's songs. Talk about a group really coming into their own & genuinely being able to not only change with the times, but grow as well. TSSF has gotten me through so many low points in my life, I'm sure the same for a lot of you here. So happy to see this band & Parker thrive how they are.
So many tracks on this album deserve to be singles. Really hope we see Let It Go, Keep This Up and Growing On You follow this up. It's also so nice to see this band finally utilise music videos so well. Their videography before this album was... lacking, in some respects. They've gone all out this time though, and I'm so glad they have.
I watched a lot of family and love ones affected by addiction the line that hits hardest is the one I heard my sister say to us "you have never seen me fine" is so close it hits me hard
Though i dig the old parker stage presence i have much love to a person who’s looking more on positive side of life.thank you the story so far keep making great music and inspiring people ❤️
From angry in a wheat field to happy in a Japanese bamboo forest... Parker has come a long way...
a change of scenery is good
Literally
Bc he got out of his hometown.
Why is "angry in a wheat field" so funny to me
So true tho lmao

Ricardo Loya Jr Think most of it is 16mm
especially since its such a personal song to Parker
Ricardo Loya Jr i felt it would’ve been better if the band was included in the video but yeah still a good simple video for a great song
I hope they do something similar to this in the future but including the rest of the band, that would be sick
@Hope To The Weak I really doubt they care whether they get to be in some music video or not
2:04 god damn that guitar gets me everytime. Kevin and Will are such good guitarists. Guitar work on this album was incredible. TSSF FTW
gahh so guudd
