What a great little pouch! So many possibilities! I would love to see the lined version too! Thank you for sharing!
I think a zig zagged lined version would be good. That is, just sew the lining on the fabric first.
These are terrific! I would love to see a lined version. Thanks.
I love your videos Christine! You explain everything so well, and you're really easy to follow and listen to. Love your work.
Hi Christine. Another brilliant project. Love to see a lined version. Thank you for sharing all your brilliant ideas with us. ❤
Your videos are always so pleasant, incouraging and relaxing. Thank you for bringing those feelings to the world.
Love this!!! 😁Thank you again Christine for another brilliant tutorial!!
Love the pouch! I would like to see the lined version too. I enjoy your videos!
This would make a terrific treat training pouch! Hook to the leash with the poo bag!
Thank you for this fun video. Yes, yes, I want to watch your tutorial on a lined version. I'm a big fan. 😊
Love these little pouches. Thanks for another super easy tutorial.
Lined version will be great to see ! You made it look so easy to do....
Thank you Christine for sharing and explaining how to do things, God bless you
What a brilliant idea,I love them, perfect to make into mobile phone bags ,never any pockets in jogging pants, well not often. My granddaughter saw the video and she wants me to make in her school colour,to put her dinner card in it (they don’t use cash) So now I have to order that type of zip. Thank you for sharing it is a wonderful idea and so simple.I think they will sell well for credit cards and mobiles ,dog treats it is endless. Thank you.
It's so great that your granddaughter want one of these Eve. You can use a regular zip as well, just a little more difficult. Instructions are in the lined version that went up today😁
Love this idea, going to have a go in the morning. I’d love to watch a lined version video. Thanks again another winner.
Hi Christine. Really like those pouches.
Steve and I both ride motorcycles. I think I am going to try and make one in vinyl fabric. Handy to keep in my panier bags. Like you say for glasses, sun glasses, small change, tissues, visor wipes etc. Great make, thanks for sharing x
Cute as is, but would also like to see a lined version as well - so many options. Thank you for another great video
Oh my goodness Christine! So adorable. I’ve been sewing for over 50 years and I’ve never seen or known you could do a zipper upon itself!!!! Wow! I have hundreds of zippers in my stashes along with a bunch of marterial. Definitely going to make these! Tfs!!!! ❤❤❤❤
Those are great. That fabric didn't need a lining. I've made similar bags that my daughter sold at her college campus. She thought it weird seeing my sewing projects all over the campus 😃😂. I had some fabric that was quite heavy and felt it would be too lumpy if I lined it. I just used a french seam that added some interest to the pouch. ❤ I wasn't brave enough to use just half the zip. But, at the time, I was going through 50 years of zippers my mother kept.
I just received a bag of zippers from a lady this week. She was collecting them as well😁
I love this pouch! A touch extra character over a straight zip version. I would LOVE to see the lined version!!😀
Gday! Love this. A lined version would be wonderful. Thanks Christine :) Happy 2024!!!
I needed a quick make for this weekend so will make these. Love to see you make a lined version.
Hi Christine, yes a video on the lined version would be fantastic thank you 💜
Looks very fun to make!! Thanks for sharing
I teach a sewing class to Middle schoolers ( 11, 12, and 13 year olds) one day a week. I think this is something they would love to try.
Love these, Christine! I’d also love to see a lined version.
Hugs from Cathy in Nevada
You make everything look so easy. I love your creativity and your teaching style. Thank you 😊
This is great! Thank you…still would love to see a bag or mini sling using the beloved gusset.
Yes, I really need to do that. My mind is very cluttered Bergen. If I take too long, please remind me again 😄
Those are extremely cute and if you have a piece of zip tape, that doesn't fit right, it can be used up! Awesome..
Great bag! Love to see a lined version. Thank you for sharing a quick project😊
These are so cute 😍 they would be great as gifts to, we could make a quilted version and also use it as a cross body bag by putting on 2 swivel clips. Thanks for the idea. 😊
Adorable little pouches and so quick and easy! Thank you! I would definitely like to see you make a lined version please. Love your tutorials!
I just made pouches like these last weekend. As I'm not a fan of open seams and visible zipper tape, I made them lined. Just as easy :)
Good morning from Central Arkansas. Love this. You are so inspiring. Thank you. You are a blessing.
YOU ARE AN INSPIRATION!
I learned to sew in home economics class in 8th grade and I LOVED it! I was so sad the class ended. I never kept going with it because my childhood was tumultuous!😢 As an adult I dabbled and it felt good but I was in the military and never dedicated a lot of time to it. Now, I’m falling back in love with sewing, I’ve always collected fabric, I purchased a new machine over the summer and you inspire me to make things. I have a flea market booth to sell things in- I’m currently organizing my fabric, I have LOTS LOTS LOTS of it. ❤
Thank you and Happy New Year
I've always been leary of zippers but you made this so easy thank you 😊
Thanks for a fantastic video! I would also love to see a lined version. I appreciate that you always include inches in your measurements. I’m not good at math and would probably never be able to figure out centimeters, millimeters, etc. 😅
If you have a longer loop for the ring then can you do those last two seams as French seams if you don’t have an overlocker? Sarah always makes a bee line for videos with the words ‘easy’ in the title! Thank you for the idea.
French seams would work really well for these. Thanks Andrew & Sarah 😃
They are so cute Christie lovely work and I will definitely enjoy seeing the lined version 😍
Great tutorial. If you can manage to put 2 tabs on with a strap would be great for a phone bag etc. I've watched a few of these pouch video's, lined/unlined and they are useful for lots of things. I want to make some soon - thanks for the reminder Christine 🤩
I just gave this a try and it worked great! Putting the slider on took a few tries. Thanks for the video.
What a great little project! Love that you did a short tutorial on the continuous zip. I have yet to conquer them. I will def give it another try. Thank you for sharing!❤
And yes please would love a lined version 🙏🙏🙏
Thanks Robyn. The lined version is up on the channel. I think it was the next video 😁
That’s an awesome pouch, looks real easy, can’t wait to try it out , thanks ☺️ for another awesome tutorial 🍒
Yes the lined one would be great thank you 😊
@ChristinesHomeAffairs great I will look forward to that thank you 😊
Love watching your tutorials. Please do a lined version😊
Thanks Joanne. I have a lined version done. It was released the following week😁
You could always bind the 2 raw inner seams with a little binding strip of fabric. If you used two pcs of fabric, you could just layer them right sides out, (wrong sides together before you sew it.) and again after it is made, use a little binding strip on the 2 inner raw edges.
awesome thanks, love them and will try them right now at 5 am lol. A ipad bag would be awesome, please Id love to follow along with that🌻
Those small bags and your dog poo bags would also be great for diaper bags. I know my son and his wife carry little bags to tie up diapers in.
I may have to invest in some continuous zipper tape so I can make more of your creations. Keep the ideas coming. 9:46
Pat, I'll be using a regular zip in the lined version tomorrow night 😃
@@ChristinesHomeAffairs I’ll be looking forward to your video. Thank you much.
I would love to see a lined one . if you lined with flannel would be great for glasses
Flannel would be a great choice Jo. The lined version is up and ready to view😁
yes do a video with the linning..i like when you open a bag it has color jiji
Would love to see a little bit bigger lined version ❤
Here it is Nicki😁 th-cam.com/video/4H76qAwGWec/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Br0rbBsiWMEbzZq5
Please do a lined❤ version...what a quaint little pouch. I think it might good for feminine products for a teen girl to clip into her back pack or purse.
nice video - love these pouches - would like to see video for lined pouches if you have the time. THANK YOU
I would love to see the lined version for an iPad. I want to make one for my iPad but want it a bit more padded.
Here's the lined version Brandi. It's even big enough for the Ipad😁 th-cam.com/video/4H76qAwGWec/w-d-xo.html
thank you Christine what a clever little pouch i would love to see a lined version as well please would using bias binding on the seams work to cover the raw edges? is there enough space to do this? thank you for another great tutorial
❤
These are gorgeous little pouches and you make it sew easy, thank you. Lots of people in the comments asking for a lined version BUT I'm going to be the proverbial pain and also ask for a video with an ordinary zipper as well, please! I haven't got round to trying out the continuous zips yet and would love to try this with a traditional zip. Would this be possible for you to do or would this change things too much? Thank you so much Christine.
Claire, you could do this with a regular zip, but you'd be wasting half of it as you don't have two sliders. Though you could use the other side for the tabs, or even the wristlet strap..... Hmmm, now you've got me thinking. When I do the lined version, I'll try to remember to also do it with regular zips😁
Yes! Thank you sew much Christine, I shall be watching out for this one. You're so good and I really appreciate this.@@ChristinesHomeAffairs
Just saw your new video with the ordinary zipper and the zipper wristlet strap and tab -fabulous, you are an absolute genius to have worked this out and present for us here. Your work is sew much appreciated, thank you Christine.
