So after seeing your IG post and watching your video, I bought a decant of this fragrance..Let me tell u bro..This the stuff you put on when u wanna pull up to the day party and like a magnet you WILL draw people to you in a smooth way..I love how it swerves away from being a powder bomb and more of that creamy shaving cream vibe. It just gets better and better as it dries down. GREAT review man and THANK YOU for putting me on to this one..SHEESH
I got a sample of this scent today. It’s by far one of the best ever scents I have smelled. It’s a smell you want to smell all the time.

So it’s a flanker but essentially is a stand-alone scent-wise. I have Mefisto already but honestly don’t reach for it much so I’m happy to hear this one seems to have more of a WOW factor as the original is very good scent crafted very well, just nothing super special. It’s funny the time we live in which require the highest levels of creativity and craftsmanship to not be lost in the sea of many “simply good” scents. Love the exclusive review! I’m going to order it as well.
EDIT: It is now on the way, I will return to share my thought on it after it arrives.
Alex Martinez Gentiluomo is truly special, it keeps the structure and attractive profile throughout the wearing, is very different from original Mefisto, way better too if you ask me, congratulations on the purchase, please comeback with your thoughts after you receive, bottle is also spectacular

Nacho Ruiz Rodriguez It is a very good scent but it is similar, by a good bit, to Mefisto. I have both and did a side by side as well as 3-4 full wears. It smells exactly the way the bottle looks. Like a blue bubble that feels like realistic water that is cool. I do not get any barbershop vibe but that does not matter to me. It’s blended so that most of the notes are note distinguishable. The overall vibe is a scent that isn’t reflected in the note pyramid. I would not say you should have both bc they are similar so if I had to choose I’d go with Gentiluomo for its barbershop smell of year 2039 and 10/10 performance for a fresh scent. 8-10 hrs religiously and enjoyable the whole time. Only downside is a synthetic chemical note or combination that lasts the whole time in the background that I could do without. Can’t explain it but it is the one blemish that keeps me thinking low end niche lick Aqua do Parma or high end limited release designer. I will keep wearing it to see how my take changes but that is it for now.

Stunning scent but lacks in performance. Mefisto original lasts 10+ hours on me but Gentiluomo barely lasts longer than 5 hours.
