This fandom is not crazy or mean, not even on twitter (!). And as much as I love BTS, army sometimes really overwhelms me with their ferocity. (Also, as problematic as shipping can be, I feel like EXO-L are really LGBTI supportive, and just flat out supportive of their idols living their best lives, with sex, partners, spouses and kids in tow. This is so healthy! and I hope it keeps growing in maturity along with the band.) I always remember how each EXO member (especially during their solos) shows the fans so much gratitude, appreciation, and CARE. If the trade-off to encouraging a cohort of fans that lives wells, loves EXO extremely well, and cares about the wider world is that we no longer win these types of awards, I still think EXO and EXO-L are always the winners, for now and always.
