Jesus didn’t need stage lights or a projector to preach and minister to the people. Jesus didn’t look over and say “son hit that clicktrack for me”…it’s sad to say but it’s all about image and greed. God didn’t tell you swing the basket back around I need $30 more from everybody. Yes I understand God wants and cheerful giver and it to sincerely come from the heart. It should go to ppl who are in real need spiritual physical and mental and not towards the pastors new car.

Chpt.1 was a courtroom scene in the courts of heaven, Satan is a legalist (Rev.12:10), in order for the hedge to be removed, he had to find a legal reason, he said if God took away the material things, Job would curse him, Jobs heart wasn't fully converted. NOTHING Happens Without Gods Permission. Just as the children of Israel was only to be in the wilderness for 11 days, but they couldn't see Gods provision in the midst, same as Job he was focused on the natural, he didn't seek God from the beginning to see what God was doing. God had to transform Jobs heart, and it was through his trial.
I never understood the saying “so heavenly minded you are of no earthly good”.Where does that come from? As Christians we understand everything is spiritual is it not? not to be confused with that religious spirit that was in the Pharisees.

It comes from people being so religious that they no longer have a personality. People who can only quote Bible scripture but don't have the skill to add in practical advice. People need transferable skills to apply things to what people are dealing with in the present day. Sometimes people are not even striving to live life because they're so concentrated on heaven. What about the people on Earth who need help?
The choir needs to remember the entire phrase of each stanza. Even if you rehearse the same song, you got to keep the phrasing accurate each time. Choir directors: Stop telling people when to clap, and shout after the song is over. Just let the response to the song come natural.
