GRM Adrian same those dialogues within the characters from 8 seasons are my favorites. Dialogues between Cersei, Tywin, Tyrion, Olenna, Bealish, Varys, to name the few. I just love it.
Shame we didn't get enough interactions in ep2, no Tyrion and Varys, Sansa and Arya, Jon and Arya, Tyrion and Sansa. It could be their last night and we don't get to see them just being a family. I would've like to have seen Arya in the Sansa and Daenerys scene acting like a body guard with a cold look on her face. The whole scene with Jaime knighting Brienne has already become one of my favorite scenes of the entire series. Every single aspect is absolute perfection.
Both The Sansa and Theon moments in the beginning of the episode when they reunite and when the song was playing at the end. My god! best scene was honoring Briene with Knight of Seven Kingdom. It was really emotional, and the song with every character in background, it seemed like it's your last day on earth, it seemed you are also a part of winterfell.
I bet it was reused CGI that was just inserted there in post production and actors probably didn't even know that there will be Ghost there. I could swear that I've seen Ghost like that before.

@★ Froggie Animation ★ Who do you think is better? Emilia clarke isn't that great tbh, kit harrington is pretty good but Nikolaj Coster-Waldau has had the most acting experience and has been in various movies etc.
I watched this episode with my friends. 3 of them thought the episode was boring cause it didnt have "action". I am rethinking my relationship with them. I will probably watch alone from now on.
I agree. Multiple seasons of character development and seeing the relationship between Jaimie and Brienne grow...all culminating to this scene, just amazing storytelling really
I love Kit's acting in that scene, you can see it in his face when she says that. He's just thinking "seriously? I don't care, I don't want the throne"

It's was nice but it was a big empty warm hall which was strange considering how many people would be needing a billet in winterfell. Major points for Sansa having her dinner from the communal stew and hanging with the common folk. Same for Lady Mormont.
This was one of my all-time fav episodes. The sentimental, emotional, funny scenes, and wonderful rare times when key characters unite--so moving. The knighting of Breanne was moving! Well done GoT's, well done.
Yes, PLEASE! And add 11 episodes to make it 80 episodes total at least. Final battle against the dead at King's Landing in the series finale. 100 minutes long or greater.
Jaime and Brienne break my heart every time they see each other and I know that one or both of them is going to die and im not ready for that yet. I just want protect them but please for everything that is good and holy: Jaime, tell Brienne you love her you damn fool, before it's too late.
Peter Dinklage has the expression of a drunk uncle who is doing something sneaky behind mom's back, and Pod's like woah here we go let's see if we can get away with it...so perfect
I started crying when they started to talk about the group scene with Brienne and especially when he said " I wanted this to be a love letter to the characters , because I love them so much " I felt that .
The devastation will be unreal. The few survivors will have to flee south, probably on the dragons' backs. Either that, or they manage to kill the Night king with great loses, which is unlikely.
@@LS-cj8jd Most noticable, Gendry Baratheon is wearing a leather jerkin we've never seen before. With the others it is hard to tell because most are just wearing undergarments. Davos seems to be wearing the same costume as always and Brienne is wearing the same gambeson she wore at castle black.
Exactly. People say that Emilia cant act but they're clearly forgetting that compared to Daenerys, she is an actual ball of sunshine and happiness and she never stops smiling, there is a smile on her face like 24/7. Emilia is wonderful.
This was one of the top 10 episodes of the series... and that's hard to do for an episode with no battle or major event. "A love letter to the characters..."
QUESTION to the GOT fans outhere: when Tormund and Ed manage to successfully come around the Army of the Dead and reaches Winterfell, they told Jon that the dead army will be arriving before dawn, BUT why they didn't mention about the ICE dragon? They saw Viserion and it's a powerful weapon for the dead army that took down the wall. This is an important information and they DIDN'T mention it. WHY?
I have to say that for zero action, this was an amazing episode. The exposition was brilliant, and everything seemed so real. I teared up a bit at some of the gestures of the characters. Our little bear is so tough and solid. Theon returns to honor his original vows. Jaime honors Brienne. Jorah gives honor to Tyrion. there are so many little gestures that I am sure if I wrote 3 paragraphs I would miss something. So much humanity. I have no fear of everlasting winter with all of these stout hearts guarding life itself.

Not only he is a great actor and a pure pleasure to watch, but he is also such an eye candy that even though I'm a man I can't take my goddamn eyes off of him
He's the best actor in the show
He’s been fantastic the whole way! We hated him like we hated Joffrey, and now he’s catapulted himself as an honorable man and one of the purest hearts on the show. He is my favorite character right now.

The scene where Jaime Knights Brienne was hands down one of the best scenes of the entire show
No.. just no
The whole act in the hall with the fire was one of the best scenes
I was bit afraid that Jaime would do something stupid like cut off her head😅😂

Rogue Seraph Same and me too 😭
100% agreed. How is hard to see that as anything other than just a really well done farewell scene? :(
It's was nice but it was a big empty warm hall which was strange considering how many people would be needing a billet in winterfell. Major points for Sansa having her dinner from the communal stew and hanging with the common folk. Same for Lady Mormont.
When pod started singing that sold the whole scene

I'm speechless, this was amazing. A love letter to the character. Many will die even though they never wanted to leave
to be correct - all from this scene.
the close-up on Pod when Tyrion pours him a cup of wine (when we was allowed ony half a cup) is fcking Emmy material
Jerry Baton Loved that bit. Tyrion was like “Sure, half a cup. I’ll make sure it’s the top half ;D”
Peter Dinklage has the expression of a drunk uncle who is doing something sneaky behind mom's back, and Pod's like woah here we go let's see if we can get away with it...so perfect
Lol Peter Dinklage has won so many awards from thrones, I won't be surprised if he wins some more after this season.
I started crying when they started to talk about the group scene with Brienne and especially when he said " I wanted this to be a love letter to the characters , because I love them so much " I felt that .
Shit, the writer was so emotional about the characters to the point he almost cried, I have a bad feeling about this
The devastation will be unreal. The few survivors will have to flee south, probably on the dragons' backs. Either that, or they manage to kill the Night king with great loses, which is unlikely.
This episode was both really funny and emotional.
All those parts with them talking was so fun and warming to watch.
So amazing.
This episode was the calm before the storm. I’m not ready for the storm
All these actors being interviewed wearing (new) costumes at some warm location puts my mind a bit at ease.
Who's wearing new costumes??
@@LS-cj8jd Most noticable, Gendry Baratheon is wearing a leather jerkin we've never seen before. With the others it is hard to tell because most are just wearing undergarments. Davos seems to be wearing the same costume as always and Brienne is wearing the same gambeson she wore at castle black.
"and love is Brienne" =)) oh Tormund
Brienne of Tarth getting knighted was the best part of the last episode. So emotionally satisfying.

WHY?
@@ranieckel9981 bran already told them. I'm sure they've planned for it already.
Can you tell me when exactly Bran told them about the ice dragon? Which episode is that?
I have to say that for zero action, this was an amazing episode. The exposition was brilliant, and everything seemed so real. I teared up a bit at some of the gestures of the characters. Our little bear is so tough and solid. Theon returns to honor his original vows. Jaime honors Brienne. Jorah gives honor to Tyrion. there are so many little gestures that I am sure if I wrote 3 paragraphs I would miss something. So much humanity. I have no fear of everlasting winter with all of these stout hearts guarding life itself.
The amount of detail and care that goes into creating these sets are mind blowing!!! So much creativity and well researched ideas! My hats off to the entire cast and crew for creating such a magnificent work of art that will be enjoyed for years to come!
