@@hht6676 .. due to sun exposure primarily....but if its on the nape of the neck with lines ....could be because of insulin resistance ( acathosis nigricans)

Why don't u bring some more deeper shades of foundation in the maybelline fit me matte +poreless foundation range,
There are more than 20 shades available in the US, so pls try to get some more deeper shades, the reason is, that foundation is so affordable, ...
Let the shades be more deeper than 330 toffee caramel

i swear, I had to buy body shop foundation which is so expensive because only they have darker shades!

I had this struggle when I lived in the UAE and they only kept shades up to 'toffee", which is so unfair because really dark skinned girls had to invest in MAC. Not even The Body Shop kept darker shades.
What I recommend for anyone who's struggling with this is finding some concealers that are inexpensive online. Check the prices for ColourPop, LA Girl, Essence, or any brand that will keep darker shades. I noticed that I can get 2 or 3 shades of cheap concealers to mix with face cream and get my tone throughout the year for the price of an expensive foundation (even with shipping, because MAC costs an arm and a leg).

Ishita # and some stores don't even allow you try the foundation on your face. They make you try it in your hand. Their logic is that we are getting our makeup done free of cost by trying it on our face😂

The color of your nipples is supposed to be the perfect nude shade for your lips. Weird fact.

Great video, but how to choose a shade for yourself when your face as well as your neck is darker than your body? And stores don't have natural white lights. Also just by swatching it on the jawline you cannot find your perfect match, even in the video it didn't match completely, you need to blend it out on half of your face(if you blend it only on the jawline, it still doesn't seem clear if this is your shade or not) or whole face and that's not possible in most stores(they won't provide you with that much of their tester foundation, that's only possible in high end stores)..
So just swatching it on your jawline does not help. Also you didn't talk at all about undertones.
Choosing your right foundation shade requires a detailed and long dedicated video to it and you choose the wrong person for it, debasree is not very good at makeup (you should have chosen shruri arjun anand, she is more knowledgeable.)
Don't try to take the easy way out nykaa. Create a full detailed and dedicated video on choosing your right foundation shade and change the blogger to someone who's more knowledgeable.

Of course nykaa had to be there..how many dusky friendly shades are there in those 5 skingenius? Curious🤔I could only find the last one that too suits may be an nc44 not beyond that!

shruti nair Nah! Stacey Castanha used the Nykaa skingenius foundations and she took no. 4, and it turned out darker for her. And she's between NC 42-44. She suggested 3 for NC42-44. So I do think you could go up a few more shades with this range. 😊

Aparajitha Kondapalli I am an nc45 myself.I have tried skin genius though it's a brilliant product what I m trying to say is in India we have diversity in this 'dusky zone'..so the line that dusky skin can choose from the 5 shades is wrong.We cannot choose the first 3 or may be 4 and many cannot go for any of these (deeper ones).No offence I m giving my opinion.😊peace out
