- The best season or months to visit places in Krishnanagar are February, March, October, November, December. Sightseeing in Krishnanagar can be done by travellers, which will take half a day or one day, but to see all sightseeing places, travellers need to stay in Krishnanagar for 2 days to 3 days.
1. #Krishnanagar_Rajbari
The Rajbari or the Krishnanagar Palace is a popular destination of the city and large number of people visit here to celebrate different festivals. The popular festivals of the Rajbari include the Jhulan Mela in the months of July and August and Holi or Dol during the month of March or April. The palace also has a temple devoted to Goddess Durga, located in the central courtyard, where Durga Puja is performed every year.

2. #Ghurni
Ghurni is a very important center for the production of clay dolls which are popularly known as Krishnanagar clay dolls. It was Maharaja Krishnachandra who popularized these clay dolls because he was very fond of them.

3. #Roman_Catholic_Church
There is a Roman Catholic Church located in Krishnanagar which is very popular for its grand architecture. The church has the display of scenes of Jesus Christ's life that are painted in canvas as well as many other wooden frescos made by Italian artists. There is also a Protestant Church, College Bhavan, the Public Library and Krishna Nagar Academy.
4. #Adhar_Chandra_Sweet_Shop
This place is famous for its sweets, specifically for sorvaja and sorpuria. These two sweets are must try in Krishnanagar.
5. #Shibnibash
According to legend, Sibnibas owes its origin to a dream. One in which Lord Shiva appeared before Maharaja Krishnachandra and told him that he was shifting base from Varanasi to his capital. To please the god, the Maharaja set up a new capital at Sibnibas and constructed 108 Shiva temples there.
The Maharaja christened the new capital Sibnibas, probably after the god. Some historians though claim that it was named after Krishnachandra’s son Shivachandra.
Only two of the 108 temples exist now. One of them houses the largest 'shivling' in eastern India. The two temples, along with a Ram-Sita temple, and the ruins of Krishnachandra’s palace are all that remain of Sibnibas’s glorious past.
6. D.L. Roy's House
This place is just opposite the railway station. The house is in very bad condition.
7. #Bathuadahari
Bethuadahari Wildlife Sanctuary is situated in the Bethuadahari town (Nakashipara area) of Nadia District, West Bengal, India. The sanctuary is located beside National Highway 34. The sanctuary covers 67 hectares, and was established in 1980 to preserve a portion of the central Gangetic alluvial ecozone.

8. #Mayapur
Mayapur is the headquarters of ISKCON and is very close to Nabadwip. It can be reached by crossing the Bhagirathi River by a ferry ride. The ISKCON temple is worth a visit and attracts a huge number of visitors every day. The place is located at the meeting point of Ganga and Jalangi.
Mayapur is a part of the nine islands of Nabadwip. It is a very popular pilgrim center for the Vishnavite which was founded by Bakti Vinod Thakur. Most of the temples of Mayapur are dedicated to Radha and Krishna.
