Hurley, it's not just the small portions which explain that the Vietnamese are so slim, but the type of food, which is very healthy, with lots of vegetables and fruit.
PHÚC dễ thương giống Ông già NOEL ghê ♥👍♥⭐♥🌸♥💯♥🌻♥🙏🏻♥🤝♥♥
Thanks for the recommendations. Went to both of these places today for breakfast. Chicken pho was exceptional. The banh cuon was delicious too. I showed a screenshot of you to the owners and they LIT UP. You’re so loved by the locals.
From Dallas Texas
I can't believe how good your Vietnamese is. It's so impressive cause it's such a hard language to learn. I was born in Vietnam but left as a toddler to Canada so I didn't practice my Vietnamese much at home. I kept talking French to my parents. My aunt makes those banh cuon and sells them from home. It's her little side business to keep herself busy and make a little money.
Obesity in Vietnam used to be a sign of wealth as well as many other undeveloped countries. Now classified as developing country, people are more conscious of their body. You also see many gyms popping up throughout the country. As a tourist, however, you’ll find yourself gaining weight since there are so many variety of foods that are readily available anywhere anytime.
Nice! I briefly visited Saigon a few weeks ago. Bánh cuốn is awesome for breakfast. I’ll have to try the phở gà place next time.
my breakfast is spaghetti ❤ vietnam morning 7:25 am :> while eating while watching your new video
Cảm ơn anh bạn Mỹ đã giới thiệu món ăn việt nam
Hi Phuc! Going to start bookmarking all of your food spots you recommend. Great video as always 👊👊
Our first two months in the country, we had a great Banh Cuon place on the corner by our apartment in Hanoi. I need to find a good close one down here by our house in Can Tho.
You are so right about the portions of foods in VN and America. I also love the bánh cuốn.
Thanks for sharing ❤
That pho ga looks legit. Banh cuon is so good to me, I don't know why it doesn't get more limelight...but maybe like you said, it was okay to you until all of a sudden, it's so good, you can eat it day and night.
Thank you for sharing my friend 👍
chúc a Phúc một ngày tốt lành💕
Oh, you were so cute as a child! Still handsome now though.
Me too I love Banh Cuon . I can eat it every day
Banh cuon one of my favorites! with nuoc mam perfect match

Hic😏😏☺☺
Agree with you that banh cuon is better than banh uot. The pork and mushroom fillings make a big difference. Banh uot is boring to me.
Thanks for the tip bro, will check it out, always looking for a tasty pho ga 😋
At 0:05, on your left hand side is the Chinese wonton noodle for more than 30yrs. It's not totally Chinese taste, more Southern Vietnamese flavor. Highly recommended!
Hi Bro. 🙂I learned a new word today : gizzard. 😊👍
That why I watch your videos. To learn some new Vietnamese vocabulary (and expressions), and the equivalent in English. 😉 I’ve been living in Vietnam for 15 years but I’m not a big fan of the food (I had an overdose many years ago 😅). Vietnamese food is good but it’s like everything, after few years it’s a little boring, rice, noodles, noodles, rice, etc.
I was born and used to live in Paris (from Portuguese parents) and it’s possible to eat 1 DIFFERENT MEAL EVERYDAY OF THE YEAR !!! 🤗♥️ 365 totally different meals, French, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, etc. Here in Vietnam, it’s a as quickly redundant. Well, it’s only my opinion after traveling in 29 countries. 😅
Best Regards from Can Tho. 🤗♥️🇻🇳
365 meals from several European countries, not one. However, I would say that French cuisine is the best in the world.
By the way, I assume you are not the Coluche who died a few years ago!
My breakfast is a warm bed because I watched a lot of movies on netflix last night. It's raining heavily and cold in my place. ( nha trang ) 🥱🫠🫠🫠
Ready to go to work and haven't had breakfast. just waiting for lunch.goodbye 🤟 vietnam number one ❤
In my opinion, the banh cuon in southern is not good as northern style. I've never been to Ha Noi to try it myself but I "eat by eyes" a lot on youtube via Chris and Max channel.
where I am in the province of Soc Trang is in heavy rain and is waiting for my mother to go to the market to buy breakfast😂
Nhìn phúc ăn, tự nhiên thèm phở gà
Ở Sài Gòn có một chỗ mà anh Phúc chưa đi tới 😊😊đố anh biết 😊

Hey great video! Can you speak Vietnamese? You should mention it more often! 😃
Céc bẹn ôi phút mộp đraay
banh cuon my favorite
In the US, it's a bit difficult to eat breakfast because you have to go to a restaurant, a family restaurant or a supermarket. And there's breakfast everywhere in Vietnam❤❤❤
I love watching you eat, Brandon! ❤😋❤
Chào Phúc Mập, các bạn đây
like, like, like
Got to have banh uot it's VN Southerner traditional dish banh cuong is overkill.

Hi Hurley, a viet kieu girl from cali here👋
While your vietnamese isn't perfect, it's decent. A bit of advice when teaching vietnamese or even speaking it is to 1)enunciate the words properly, 2)get the pronunciation down pact, 3)use proper pronouns/respect ur elders by saying 'bac' instead of ong/ba and 4)google translate is not chính xác or accurate when you use it, so don't rely on it. Chính xác actually means accurate, not 'exactly' in viet. You're also using the term 'of course' wrong in viet too. Đương nhiên means obviously, not of course. So when someone asks you for a pic, ur not telling em 'of course', ur actually saying 'obviously🙄'. For example, if someone said 'oh ur wearing red today?', then you might say đương nhiên/obviously😅. So next time someone asks for a pic, for fear of sounding rude/disrespectful, just say 'Vâng, Được'🙃
Happy teaching!😊
Thanks for the advice, and I'm always open to constructive criticism. Since the beginning, my pronunciation has been the weakest skill for me, but some of it is on purpose. I made an IG lesson explaining it: instagram.com/reel/Cpfie9mjq6t/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
As for the pronouns, ông/chú, cô/bà are very respectful for the older folks. Sure, you can say bác, but it's not necessary, unless it's the older sibling of your parents.
Referring to the "đương nhiên", I never use that word in my videos (if you can find a clip where I said that word, I will be gladly proven wrong. My subtitle guy may have written it by mistake in the past). I've learned that word with my tutor, but it's not something in my "vốn từ vựng"/lexical resource per se. When I say "of course", I switch between "dĩ nhiên" and "tất nhiên" to add variety to my "từ vựng"/vocabulary.
@@phucmapvlog You're welcome! I figured you'd wanna perfect the Vietnamese language. Also calling an elder, ong/ba is very informal sounding to us northerners such as myself because we speak proper Vietnamese in the north ya know. The south use more slang and speak more informally than the north is what I've noticed.
@@ann_can Thanks for watching and the corrections. I understand that there are stark differences between the Northern/Southern dialects, and I try to understand both. Most of my speaking will be of the Southern influence
I'm in Japan having breakfast with sushi .but not as good as breakfast in vietnam👎

Phuc map posted the video in the early morning too. I'm drinking coffee and eating " Sunny side up egg" watching the movie " the last of us " feeling very good " 🥱
Man whenever I go back to Vietnam I order two portrions for me because it's so little. 🥲 And then i walk down the street some more and get fat shamed by the locals LOL
