Vaxei has returned to playing osu for the first time in 14 months and everyone has been going crazy. A lot of us thought that he would permanently be stepping away from the game forever, but now he has returned and it's as if he never left to begin with. But while everyone was caught up with his initial return, he proved that he truly never gets rusty because he turned his 14 months of inactivity into an FC on Chronostasis. Yes, Vaxei got an FC on Chronostasis after leaving the game for more than a year. If anyone else did this, it would be impossible to believe, but this is Vaxei we're talking about, and he's the only person in the world that makes things like this normal.

I started playing osu around 2 years ago but only started to involve myself in the osu community like 6 months ago

The joy I got when Vaxei went live a couple of days ago was unreal. As a relatively new osu player, I never witnessed Vaxei's dominance live. I'm glad he's back, and I can't wait to see his matches against Malis or Mrekk

It's cool that the skin is a comeback in itself. It's very reminiscent of his older skins(pre-bacon boi). The elements and the hitsounds are straight up out of his 2017 skins

I’m happy that he’s back but also at the same time if he is really struggling to quit and he believes that quitting is best for him i wish him the best in that, because I know a lot of players struggle to quit
I would not be surprised if the only reason he come back is because of roundtable.

a question out of the blue that many have: what would happen if vaxei and maliszewski faced off either in a 1v1 or a team tournament? now, i like to think that both players have enough respect for one another to not think about it too much but for those that do wonder, what do you think would happen?

well I would still think Vaxei would still win. Even if it's a tight match. I mean, I'm not saying Maliszewski is not the current #1 best tournament player. I'm just saying. During mrekk stream yesterday. They had a friendly 1v1. It was a tight match, but mrekk manage to win against him. Don't start going at me. Maybe they weren't even trying. Best reason for that. But, vaxei took on mrekk twice while he was serious, still manage to win against him. So yeah....who knows. Maliszewski dominating the tournament setting, vaxei known for winning all huge tournaments. We won't know who's going to be taking the #1 crown until they face off in an osu tournament.

I haven't played osu, been part of the community, or watched any videos about it for about a year. Vaxei was always one of my favorite pros so it's cool to see he came back and playing even though I haven't really been around for it. He's a cool dude
At this point im really trying not to jump on the Muscle memory train, BUT im only able to explain it with said concept. Also it would be really interesting to know when muscle memory would finally deminish in a certain field.

n3rdiness im a bit confused at the end. Im newish to osu (6 digit) and I watched osu like 2 years ago until now and I don't know why vaxei has his 'crown' title. Surely the best player according to osu should be the king, no? I've heard mrekk being the goat but a lot of people are saying vaxei is the goat and idk what the hell is going on

Imo he probably just plays on an alt, clearly he likes the game, maybe he doesn’t like the attention as much so when he “disappears” he’s just on an alt but for that long of a break on an alt is weird, but it’s how some people roll (I don’t see much osu content nor know the community well so I could easily be fully wrong)
