An amazing fantasy solo campaign game, just released, and big brother to the sci-fi "Five Parsecs From Home", which was a blast to play and upload to this channel!!

I plan on using Five Leagues with Runewars and Reaper miniatures. Basically, I'll be playing solo with part of my Frostgrave warband.
Well, 5 Parsecs was responsible for me getting a bunch of minis painted, so the plan is for 5 Leagues to help me make a dent in my Rackham Pile of Shame!! I also considered running an all Feral warband, having six Rackham Wolfen running around the tabletop... 😲

I had to read the book five times before feeling confident enough to start recording!!! 5 Parsecs was a single read and BAM lets go!! hahaha 2nd Video is in progress... Region design and Threat selection! Coming soon once I have a certain 5 Parsecs video done...😜

Under: The Descension Faction you will find the Bird men you’re looking for, called Tengu. The Tengu come in small types & the Warrior types are large. They are metal though & are armed with ancient type weapons, swords, bows & glaive.
Great find, will make a note. Found a few on Thingiverse but always good to find more sources with potentially better models!! If all else fails I have my 'Duck' miniatures from many moons ago (Runequest)!! 😁

As a former Emissary of the Red Dragon* I fully approve of the Confrontation angle.
Which puts me in a tough spot because I was going to go for Bestiarum - when there are too many great metal minis still also waiting for paint!

Long ago and still many of the minis can hold their own against today's products! I was always intimidated to paint the damn things though. Never thought I could do them justice after looking at the card art!! 😁
I know that feeling and it kept me from achieving anything for far too long. I always wanted to get better at painting first and then, one day, I would do those fantastic minis justice.
This looks like another great game from Ivan, not sure when I will get it, I don't have a lot of fantasy minis (will get more once I get the game)so in the mean time I will play vicariously through you :) Can't wait to see you terrain set up, the were great in 5 parsec!
I have tons of figures, trouble is that the vast majority are assembled, primed and normally black-washed..... I was and still am a very slow painter.... I will probably have to do more fantasy terrain, and possibly some new game boards, but its the unpainted minis that is gonna be the time sink

I've already accepted I don't have all the right minis, painted or otherwise, but it's not going to stop me diving in.
Hi Chris, many thanks for the sub and comment!! Get stuck in right away, even with the wrong minis!! My situation is different since I kinda need the right minis (and fully painted) since I record and publish my games for the world to see (cmon world, watch and subscribe!!)
All the more reason to get a cheap (under 100) resin printer. Best bargin you will find for sure and versatile too.

Only just got into 5 parsecs then this comes out! Great time for solo players! Also just received Ironsworn too, have you played this?
Ironsworn is a game I have had for a while but haven't played yet... along with a ton of other games! It truly is a great time to be a gamer with so many games out there that aren't GW!!

Ok i have 1 quetion/problem that i realy like to have a solution (if it exists) to have it solved.
I started by liking board games, bought some and i realy love board games, the one i most like is Robinson Crusoe that when you are playing at the end you kinda had a story of what appen.
After the board games i went into ttrpg. Ttrpg was my next "thing", but im talking about solo. I love the idea of creating the character and get playing and discover my story. I had good times playing ttrpg solo but i had something missing, the tatical gameplay with minis.
After that i started my find for Skirmish games that i can play solo and had some ttrpg vibe after the combat. I ended up buying 5 Parsecs, yet dident played.
After getting 5 parsecs i ended up to buy a resin 3d printer and printed a bunch of Fantasy models (i know 5 parsecs is sci-fi) for playing 5 leagues of Borderlands when i could get a phisical copy and for playing my solo ttrpgs... but i endend up realising something, having all this 3d printed minis let me to the conclusion that playing some skirmish game with minis take alot of afford to put the minis into a single battle and as becouse im a "procrastinater" person i cant find my self enouth motivation to get past that initial effort.
My quetion is... is there actualy a solution to that? An easy way to get the minis fast into the table?
Btw my new next thing is Gaslands... ttrpg with cars... i realy need to stop looking at YT videos becouse this is ruining my wallet :')
Btw: One solution that i found to my problem is to play it digitaly... yet i love the feel of the phisical stuff
Hi Ace. I don't have a big budget for my gaming, so I have to look for cheap solutions. Doing Resin printing will help for the minis, but if you need to test a game to see if you like it, or maybe get a couple of armies to the table quickly, there is nothing wrong with using Paper Standees. I did this to test the OnePageRules "Age of Fantasy Skirmish" game. The videos are on my channel. Also I tend to use a lot of Paper Terrain, cheap, easy, and fast to get on the table since you don't need to paint!! I have a playlist on my channel for Tabletop Papercraft. Feel free to have a browse of my channel. A lot of the videos are aimed at gamers like us, who have limited funds/money etc. Cheers again for the comments, I enjoy reading them.
You should get a resin 3d printer and minis will never be your problem anymore... then space is your problem.
