Secondly, he said that the military had to do more without commenting specifically on the present state of the military. Thirdly, he described the qualities of the person who should be the next president without mentioning a political party , an individual or a specific region. That's wisdom.

I believe that the reason we have agitations for secession in Nigeria is that the right things are not being done. If governance had given every section of the Nigerian society the necessary dividends in terms of economic welfare and acceptance, and no section is marginalized in any way, there won't be such agitations. If there were no looting of the treasury at federal, state and local government levels, and if the resources were appropriately managed for the benefit of all, there would not be agitations for secession. In the present dispensation, Peter Obi stands out as the magic wand that is capable of restoring the Nigerian State economically. He is highly detribalized and he would use the best Nigerians to achieve his purposes, irrespective of tribe or ethnicity. He is sound beyond measure in all respects. Nigeria and Nigerians need him now! Atiku and Bola Tinubu do not fit. They have looted our treasury enough! They contributed immensely to the bastardizing of the Nigerian State, her economy, and her morality. They are epitomes of corruption. PETER OBI IS OUR NECESSARY STRUCTURE UNOPPOSED!
Ike,your opinion is wrong because this same Peter Obi was in governance and nothing tangible he did on Anambra. He was a specialist in maintaining roads and other infrastructures but never built new one's. Lies upon lies. Those social media criers are crying for nothing and none of them have been able to convince if Peter Obi was not part of the problem. Peter Obi made himself more than the Anambras who voted for him.
I applaud you, sir, IBB. We as a Nation are quick to condemn you, but you had the interest of the Country at heart-a man who gave his wife a platform to shine. We should think of United democracy as it should be. IBB is not INEC rigging the elections, nor is he your state's governors not providing essential services to the people.

Please someone help me see, the first time the interviewer got shocked with IBB's Maradonic attitude, at 27:25 minute of this interview, she asked, "what do you think of this present Govt economy, as in to know how IBB rates its econômical performance? His response is that 'since the economy has not collapsed that the Govt is trying. Those of you asking why Rufai wasn't sent, hope you guys know that he's arrogant and with people like that Arise would never get anywhere near these top politicians. My guess is it's same reason he wasn't included amongst the team that had a session with PMB. Meanwhile, IBB decided not to share anything on this interview, evasive as usual. I hope he tells us the whole truth someday before he dies, we deserve that at least.
I disagree with you on Rufai,he is not arrogant rather he's blunt, straight forward and sincere.yes, if taken may not give Arise TV head way on top interviews again but know for sure that he's the type we need in Nigeria now.
@@ademolamary7225 There's a thin line between arrogance and confidence and I can tell when a person is the former. I have watched Amanpour and other top journalists interview tyrants and notable world leaders, trust me I could tell when I see a arrogant one. Abati had to step in to salvage what was already an awkward situation. Just so you know, I like him as a journalist and I consider him to be highly cerebral but dude needs to learn some diplomacy.
The IBB period was a major turning point for our beloved country. IBB is comparatively one of the best leaders in Nigeria. IBB engaged the media, constantly briefing the country and taking questions. Today's leaders should stop blaming IBB for their irresponsible behaviours. Nigeria belong to Nigerians.

We have to first appreciate our efforts that have most likely led to that ugly lady called Tundu not sitting down with our able Rufai in the morning show. I felt like going there and uprooting her when she conspicously showed she had fracas with our sole representative there in Rufai. The next one to go should be Mr. Abati whom i feel is also not comfortable with Rufai.
Arise News won't allow Rufai to conduct the interview because they know that he is going to ask IBB tough questions.
All hail IBB🙋♂️, the man who knows Nigeria like the palm of his hands. Smartest thief of all times and the most corrupt leader in Africa

Beautiful questions with brilliant answers . The interview made my day
The best thing he said in this interview is that Nigerians are wonderful people you cannot intimidate them “ agreed 100%.
Rufai is the only one that should handle this type of interview professionally
Thanks for saying my opinion after 15 mins of watching the video. The man shouldn't be made to escape the definition of federalism and say if Nigeria is federal.
Which Rufai? You better not be talking of the wicked Governor of Kaduna State
Rufai would have done an excellent job. He would have crucified IBB intellectually.
She just allowed IBB escape the important questions. Rubbish
It's better this way they didn't involved the young man y'all craving for to hold this interview in order not to endanger him ahead of his career

No matter what older generation will never forget that this man opened the flood gate of corruption in Nigera.Yes we know

Infact, he brought 419, drug peddlers, made lots of millionaires whose source of wealth were neither here or there leading to hyperinflation that Nigeria economy is still suffering from till date.
Very true
That's right.
Loool, the 1963 coup was motivated by Corruption... The second Military coup was motivated by large-scale corruption. Let us stop pinning the national problems on individuals. We will not solve the problem as a nation until we stop doing this
Corruption begins with an individual in a family, society etc. Biblical example of Judas betraying Jesus Christ, is no different from IBB or someone else who starts or endorse corruption in his society .
The interviewer did great and highly professional too. IBB was as evasive in his characteristic manner.

This man seems always composed when giving interviews. I wish there were more hard questions the lady gave. Next time, please allow Rufai to be the interviewer. He has the nerves to give tough questions. Abati tries trys to sit on the fence.
Must we interview him in the first place? Who is he?
Abati has wined and dined with them, so he would rather not blow too much hot or cold.

IBB is very intelligent. He said that Nigeria economy under Buhari has not crashed. This is very diplomatic. IBB didn't say that Buhari is doing well or not.

It's an ongoing development. Peter Obi is best visible option but not the answer. It's a good start. He is a placard.
Former President Babangida is good man. Great points during this speech!
