I find it odd to pick a cover song for Synlacross. One of my favorite Suicide Silence songs. I think it's the video where they are getting blasted in a shooting range.
The riffs on Once Humans' second album "Evolution" were a strange mix of groovy, sexy, and beautiful.
Oceans of Slumber did death metal? I thought they always did something like progressive doom or something. Cammie Gilbert always did only clean vocals. That caught me off guard.

The term "female fronted" is so cringy. Stop trying to make it a genre. They're bands with women in them. That's all.
And to be honost bands like these perpetuate the term bc the presence of the woman is so clearly overblown to make it all about them instead of just being an equal part of the band
Nobody is making it a genre, but metal is male dominated, so OP just wanna bring recognition to female singers.
