This is so inefficient it HAS to be a union job! Nobody but hourly workers backed by a union would choose this method to do the job intended in this fashion!
It would help if they started down at the actual crusher and broke the material loose, eventually the weight from the material at the top would break loose and collapse all the material into the crusher.. the long reach excavator is also a good idea although you would need one longer than the standard 60’ reach cause that crusher is low in the ground.. i could have that cleaned out in a very short time.. i would also love to run that crusher..

People, they could not clear the entire hooper because of the conveyor issue and just removed the rocks for safety. They are clearing a problem in the cone. They did a good job and should be commended for their bravery.

Why haven't they got safety harnesses on or a second line on the work cage. Foolhardy at worst, stupidity at best... I said years ago they need vibrators on the outside of the hopper walls, used regularly nothing would build up.
and meanwhile there are two gigantic boulders just waiting to fall on them and as usual the "clean up" was useless for par.
