A long time ago, in the glory days of film photography, many studio pros used Polaroid cameras to do test shots to ensure everything was ricky tick before the shot was committed to film. The reaction of an acceptable shot was "Ooh."
Hey Booray, must admit i sometimes still Chimp as i shoot with a DSLR but lucky for me i do photography as a hobby, so i don't have to worry about the Client looking at me. Another funny word i like in photography is Pixel Peeping. I do make Chimpanzee sounds sometimes and then i say, did i say that out loud. This has been a light hearted video🤣👏
New fujifilm user and love the idea of using the viewfinder for playback. Can't see the option on my x-t30II though. The playback button just turns the back screen on whilst I have my eye at the viewfinder.
At the moment I shoot with a Leica M10, but would love to pick up an M10D which has no rear screen or EVF. I think it would be a fun way to shoot with no way to check the images until you download them later (M10D does have wifi and an app).
@@BoorayPerry Since I only shoot for me I have taught myself to leave the live view off on my M10 and go out all day shooting without looking at my images until I download them. I can see where this would change if someone is paying you to take the images and getting it right is much more important..
The inverse square law defines how light falls off over distance. The dictates where you place your lights when you're taking a picture of a group of people. 🙂📷

That chimp impersonation was funny! Honestly better to chimp than to deliver bad photos, but great tip about the playback button!
Thanks! It's been great for me. :)

It's in there somewhere. I think all mirrorless cameras have it.
Not a problem, I shoot on an xpro3 or old film cameras.
this video may change how I shoot: custom button to "Stealth Chimp". Thank you!
I love it. :)

I have been wanting to do a challenge where photographers have to shoot just 24 images, no chimping. :)

At this stage I'm thinking you are making this up as you go along. Lol
It seems that way! :)
The Inverse Square Law? That’s gravity isn’t it? You a physicist as well as a TH-cam Master? 😂

@@BoorayPerry just like gravity then!
I'll take your word for it. :)@@billwinward9324
My DSLR bodies are converted to IR so there's no point in me looking at the shades of red mess on the screen.
I want an IR camera. :)
Lol!!
Bokeh and low light performance should be 3 and 4.
😂
