I was gifted some Pink Floyd vinyl and I will not be putting it on my very poor quality suitcase player. I am looking at current makes/models and am going to invest in this lifestyle. I want to thank you from the bottom of my music loving soul - you have made this adventure pleasant and educational. Within 5 hours of watching you I now know what I need and don't need. You are a treasure to the music community. Thank you~
Did you know Dark Side of the Moon had some covers that were printed upside down in error, and some of them got out before recall, and are highly sought after ?
Just saw this today...It was getting weird when I have your top 14 in my collection...revisiting FM as a result...your Audacity video gets hits whenever I start digitising. Thanks for your efforts!
I really like that Roy Orbison album and Roberta Flack. Just found your channel, thanks for sharing all this great info! The last one, olympics is very neat.
Thanks for the upload, Craig! I just re-watched this video because I was finally able to afford my own turntable. And I have to say, after I watched this previously, I went ahead and listened to that FM record (on Spotify) and I freaking love it! What a terrific album and band. Thanks heaps!
Hey, Craig! I love to watch your vids! You really seem to know your stuff and yet you are very down-to-earth, humble & great for the average person whom has a great interest in vinyl records. Always have great tips to share while keeping in mind the likelihood of one who may be financially strapped. I truly trust your opinion on pretty much everything from cartridges to turntables and anything else vinyl related. Keep up the good work, keep up the great vids and DEFINITELY...keep on spinning that vinyl. Cheers! 🍻
Found your channel a few weeks ago, and I must say we share the same taste in music, and vinyl! I feel like I've found a long lost friend again! Looking forward to seeing more of your videos!
Thank you for showing your favorites. I have watched a lot of these on YT and half the records I have never heard of (nor care honestly). Other than your bonus LP (awesome you are on it), but all the albums you showed are ones we owned when I was younger or I am very aware of them and love them. I'm new back in the vinyl world after giving my player and albums to my nephew years ago, so it's been a lot of fun watching your videos and opinions. Great work! Really have been enjoying it. Would love to see more of your favorites someday!
Going through some of your older posts and really enjoying them. I was lucky enough to see FM live opening for Triumph. Love Phasors On Stun and love me some Nash the Slash! Keep up the good work! Also love the fact you love Rush as much as I do! Thanks
13:10 - I'm not sure if I commented on this already, but I found an early pressing of "Breakfast In America" that's in pretty good shape. Found it on discogs, where I find most of my 'hard-to-find' vinyl that I can't usually find in the wild.
Craig, glad to see this new channel. I hope you will be doing how to videos, like, beginners just getting into vinyl, including hardware buying and setup. Sorry you couldn't cast this week.
Brewer65 Yes I plan on doing setup videos and talking everything I've learned about vinyl so far. Everyone's got a slightly different take on some subjects, but it's good to hear what others are doing so you can decide what works for you. Cheers!
Jim Croce, what a great story teller, a loss to the world of music felt all these years later. I am still trying to find a copy on vinyl. Great collection Craig.
when he says vinyl tv he means it....i have been watching his videos for a month now and let me say this...this person is sooo relaxing i love hearing to his voice, talk pationately about something that he loves and i also love(i hear him while doing homework while gaming, while doing averything)he is just a little podcast thats very etertaining
Cool tapo on your favorite vinyl! They all are well cared for! Mine were stored horizontally but seldomly played! Now my turntable (dad's old Dual 1010A) is almost repaired and soon I'll have it connected to my old stereo. I recently purchased an old record from America's Hideaway and Fleetwoodmac's Mirage at a thrift store but the covers were worn perhaps the vinyl as well! The art work of the Lp's is amazing, large format printing and the photography had to be large format as well!
2:58 Fun fact, I own that album on CD, and at the end of Runnin' Down A Dream, Tom Petty talks to the listener and takes a few seconds before they begin side 2, in fairness to listeners on vinyl and cassette. I think that's really nice. :)
14:00 - I like FM! U did a needle drop on 'One O'clock Tomorrow' and I definitely liked it. I like synth stuff. I also liked the A-ha song u played as well!👍
Please keep the uploading up! There isn't many people like you on youtube and your very entertaining to watch. Your taste of music is very good and I would like to see some equipment reviews as well, you just earned yourself a subscriber.
What? a Canadian and no mention of SAGA...lol great choices Craig, and I have to say, your music is fantastic. And yes, I'm a long time Saga fan, and I'm sure it's just an oversight on your part. lol Btw, My Fluance RT 81 is pre-ordered and should arrive the end of Jan 2021. Thanks to your review(after many others), I made it my choice after much research.
Hi Craig! Cool video. Nice information on the Olympic album. That must of been a special time in your life to of been able to do some thing like that. Nice record showing. Keep em coming. Peace
Great video, and a very cool selection of albums there too. I have that Scritti Politti album on vinyl as well. I love it, I think it's a fine album. Would love to have the Boston album in my collection though. Hopefully I'll find it one day, don't know if the album has been reissued or not. I also have Hotel California on vinyl too. The Eagles' best album IMO, though One Of These Nights is a very close 2nd I think. Fleetwood Mac's Rumours is an absolute classic. It's one of my all time favourite albums and would be right up there in my top 5.
Bless you for mentioning FM's Black Noise in your top 20. They are sadly very unknown in the world of music. I recommend FM to anyone I meet who shows an interest in progressive rock or simply experimental music, period. An Ontario, Canada boy myself, I heard the odd song by them on Toronto's Q107 radio station back in the day, and after hearing the whole BN album at a friend's place (way back around 1980 or so), I bought a copy for myself. I've owned it on cassette tape, then the first long-overdue CD pressing, then upgraded to the remastered CD a few years back. So that's a used copy you have there, right? I saw the album on used vinyl not long ago, and I passed on it just because I don't even listen to my CD much any longer (just once in a long time.... I listened to it constantly for decades. I'm sure I'll regret not buying it on vinyl... unless it's still there... Thanks for the great video and channel!
I am so glad that I found your site as I never took the time to understand how to adjust a turn table so that it works properly>>>!!!! I appreciate your site as I am learning a lot in my senior age!!! I remember 1974 when I spent $920 on a stereo system which I still have and use, which consisted of a Realistic QTA-790 4 Channel Receiver>>>4 Nova Series Speakers and a Reel 2 Reel and a Garrard Turn Table!!! That turntable always skipped, I could never get it to work right, so myself and some friends used it for target practice, I really regret that now!!! I do still have the Cartridge and Stylus just in case I decide to get a Garrard!!!!!!!!! I did find a>>>Audio-Technica AT-LP2X Record Player which has a Magnetic Cartridge and Diamond Stylus which is compatible with my receiver, I am going to get that and use your lesson to make the proper adjustments!!!!!!! Thank You For Your Lessons>>>!!!!!!!
Loved your top 20! A Few of them were unfamiliar to me, but the Jim Croce LP/Record/Vinyl is also one of my favorites. I do believe, however, that my very favorite of all time is Baby Face by Wing & A Prayer Fife & Drum Corps. You've probably not heard of it, but (I think) it's great.
Hi Craig, Great video. You had me hooked already within the first minute or so. It was fun to see what you are into. Thanks for the FM tip. I have none of their music, had never listened to them even though I like Prog rock big time. Will look out for them next time I'm out record shopping. Also nice to see records you actually are involved with. Would be interested to hear more about that very last record. Maybe you could do a needle drop of it sometime. Cheers!
John Bellamy Oh, and the FM album is a little synth oriented too, but one of the head guys, Nash the Slash play quite a bit of electric violin on it. He also has this little electric guitar, or maybe it's a mandolin, I'm not sure.
I have Hysteria signed. One of my favorite vinyl records. The band gave me the record in march 1988 backstage before their show in Oslo Norway. Lp signed by all the guys in the band back in the day def Leppard were def Leppard and Steve was alive. I have the record on my wall, and the copy I bought the day the record was released I play. Great that you put that masterpiece in Your top 15 all time Lps.
I cried when the pyromania album i bought for 21 bucks (way too much) had a wicked warp to it so it barely played the first track..but at least the cover art was still mint
You have been snooping into my life , background and taste for sure . I dont know if to be offended or flattered. Rest assure that the Ale is saved already..You go on and save this world, but only the right way.. and in peace . My favorite of the 2 is "Even in the quietest moments". Guess which song, ...but again you probably know that too....Give a little bit...
i went and seen trooper last year. i brought my hot shot album to get signed and i met Ra McGuire and when i handed him the record he said "how did you manage to find that one? thats a rare album." im not sure how rare it is, but it is one of my favorites for sure!
Yeah I remember Columbia House as well as RCA Music Club. Yep the late Jim Croce a singer/songwriter who was just gettin started til his plane went down in Louisiana.
Thanks Craig for another really enjoyable video. I like everyone of them. They make me feel good and listening to you makes it feel like sit with a good friend talking about our favorite subject - "vinyl"! But Im little older than you and from Sweden so in my world they are not vinyls but LPs ofcourse. I like the list you presented but as Im older and perhaps because Im Swedish so I was about 15 when the black blues hit us my list wouldnt contain even 1 record from your list. And for me every record on my list will be those recirda that hit my soul, head and stomach the first time I listened to them. Irrespectible of condition. But if I could get better copies than my old original I might buy another copy of them. So the first impression is whats most important to me. But I do try to get the best recordplayers I can afford even if just hear the cracks even better. I have one old Luxman PD-290, one Thirens TD-160 and one new Project Classic with an 2M Black and several new and old cartridges (me and my old friend calls them Pickups ofcourse! But because of one of your videos about a recordplayer I had never heard of that you like Ive ordered a Fluance Reference RT 85! so I can easy change cartridges and test them and compare. Because even if I had separate headshells on my Luxman and my Thorens those headshells are not standard. I choose between RT 85 and Technics 1500 C. And its not possible to buy Fluance in any swedish HiFi store I had to order it from Amazon. I will get my new darling 23d to 29th of Juöy. Im eagerly waiting for it. But I still may also buy a Technics 1500 C even if I dont like onboard RIIA (please dont just call it a Phono ampmifier because its not ONLY and amplifier but the most impirtant thing it does is to transform the curved freqv curve to back to normal) amplifiers. So stop all those terible onboard RIIA amps and internal ADCs and USB connectors. Real "vinylers" dont need or want them. I used my old Pioneer PD-509and 609 to digitize my old LPs some years ago and they have good ADCs! So thank you very much Craig. And by the way I took up my singing and guitar playing again after a 25 year long pause and went up on stage and hav a coupke of acoustic trios and performed on different stages. So I went up on stage first time after my 50ieth birthday. And have had a good time doing it. I have made several song and some of them are kind of popular and I have a live recirding of my trio on one of Stockholms most legendary stages! That feels really good. And next week I will get my new Darling because of you Craig.Keep on giving us good videos with your friendly smile. Vinyl is Final as you say!
Scritti poltiti now Craig the sound on that album is really great there is something going on all over the 5 positions in the speakers .Ho patti I think one track was ,really needs sitting and closing your eyes to find the sound. Love that album
I guarantee you that CDS will come back in value, because everyone is trashing and throwing theirs away. And some of the more obscure CDS will never be available online. Keep your CDs.
***** If you ever have catastrophic data loss, you could lose many songs. Having the CD means you will always have the source on hard copy, along with the credits, lyrics etc. People made the same argument about records when they started selling/trading/trashing them in the late 80s to early 90s. Most folks figured they would never buy another record in their lives.
I think it's very possible that CDs will return to a place of prominence. After all, hardly anyone predicted the vinyl resurgence, so to say it isn't possible seems myopic at best. HOWEVER, I do think the form factor of CDs is what limits their appeal, especially from any kind of resurgence in interest. The portability of CDs was really the main reason they came to dominate the music form factor wars. But now CDs have been displaced in portability by all-digital music. Who wants to haul around a bunch of CDs when you can contain your entire music library in a thumb drive? And what vinyl has as a form factor, what makes it special, CDs don't have. There's really nothing CDs bring to the table that vinyl doesn't (besides, perhaps, low noise levels on playback, which appeals to some) and vinyl has the added attraction of having much larger cover art, which appeals to those who thinks aesthetics are important (that would be me!). In addition to that, there is the physical ritual of taking a record out of its sleeve, placing it upon the turntable, dropping the needle to the vinyl. I know it sounds a bit silly, but there's something about that process, that series of movements, that is just much more satisfying than popping a CD in a player and pushing "Play".On the other hand, the thing CDs have going for them, which vinyl had previously, is their lower cost factor, especially for used CDs. One of the things that kept vinyl alive when it was otherwise left for dead by the major labels, was the cheapness of used records. You could build an entire vinyl collection and not come close to breaking the bank. With all the renewed interest in vinyl these days (and I am also part of that), prices have gone up and now you have to invest a fairly significant chunk of change into your vinyl to amass a decent collection. So maybe CDs will survive because of that. Or maybe it will be cassette tapes. Who knows?! What I do know is that I have over 300 CDs, because I bought into the CD "revolution" like everyone else in the late 80's. While I prefer vinyl now, I have no intention of getting rid of those CDs I've accumulated. What for? They don't take up that much space and they're not hurting anyone! :) Who knows, maybe they'll be worth a few pennies on the dollar in a couple decades?!
+Joe Como yeah you're right. Try getting a UHCD, or a box set from the 90s. I just sold a 3 disc box set of Lynyrd Skynyrc for $47 on ebay. And my Doors "Perception" box set clicks in at about $180...so CDs and especially box sets have become valuable.
Finally Pink Floyd is reprinting their albums on 180g vinyl. I remember when I could get a good copy for less than $20. Today the prices are more than doubled. I remember I gave away my favourite Pink Floyd album to a friend because of his kindness. It was the only album he lacked to complete his collection. I stroll around in vinyl shops and I figured I could get a similar one for little over $20. But they were from $40-50 and not even as good as the one I gave away, which i bought for around $20 some five years ago. The album is Atom Heart Mother, and they say it will be reprinted later this year. the first three albums have been reprinted and awailable at amazon.uk
Not sure if someone else has already commented or asked, however, I would like if you had added if it is an original issue, reissue, label, etc on each record. We like similar music and I am just getting back into vinyl. So with a few quick label pointer, I can set up my search's on eBay asap. (could you tell me about the YES, Boston and Bread albums, please)
Great video Craig. Got to tell you that you are responsible for me rediscovering Rush, I've heard you mention them a few times on CraigTube, took a listen to them again after many years, and wow! I'm slowly buying all their albums in date order, I've just received their 1985 offering in the post, sure you can tell me what it is! Thanks for another great video, which has made it's way all the way to sunny Scotland. ps You need to get some Queen vinyl into your collection, especially their early stuff!
Mark Nichol Yup, Power Windows is fantastic, one of my favs. A lot of people don't like the amount of synths used, but I love it. I'll be getting the re-issue, even though I have it already and it's mint. Glad you enjoy the videos. Cheers Mark! Rush Rules. :)
Vinyl TV I got to see them during the Power Windows tour. I play pipe organ. To see Geddy playing multiple instruments at one time brought me to tears. I always wondered how 3 people would reproduce album live. Neil, the percussionist extraordinaire, had me amazed.
I just found you on TH-cam yesterday and have been binge watching your videos! I really enjoy them... After having watched this collection video of your favorite records I can tell you either live in Canada or are from Canada haha! after a while I was going to expect Chilliwack or April Wine record😝 keep the videos coming I really enjoy them
Knowing the fact that you've got a pair of "golden ears" for hearing, I'm gonna check out the FM. I want a copy of Breakfast In America, but can't decide on the DVD/BluRay or the vinyl version. Great collection, and video. Thumbs Up!
scotchrks For the Supertramp, The CD sounds great. If you can get the BluRay, you know you got the highest resolution digital copy. But above all else, you need a good vinyl copy. The re-issue sounds great.
I like your choices. My list : Pink Floyd - Dark side of the moon Supertramp - Crime of the century Steely Dan - Can´t buy a thrill The Smiths - The Queen is dead The Waterboys - This is the Sea Pavlov´s Dog - Pampered Menial Keith Jarrett - Koln Concert Jethro Tull - Songs from the Wood Television - Marquee Moon Neutral Milk Hotel - In the aeroplane over the sea Pixies - Doolittle Sufjan Stevens - Illinois Pink Floyd - The Wall Dire Straits - Brothers in Arms Gang of Four - Entertainment!
Hello Craig, thanks for your videos, just subscribed. Also big Supertramp lover (see my own vids btw :-) Just watched some of your vids, enjoyed them all, loved also one of your newer video's, about sound quality with different turntables and different, or more expensive, components and so on; very down to earth and Logical ;-), thanks. Also love your voice and your relaxed way of speaking, the humor, very nice to listen to. Greetings from the Netherlands! Simon (p.s. If I also HAD to choose only óne Supertramp album (out of the "5 classics"), well, maybe in the end it's also got to be BiA...but, that said, I immediately will miss CotC, CwC, EitQM, and (even) FLW :-)).
I collect vinyl also love them that 45 by far-away you said you 100 copies a cool thing to do take a trip to the Grand canyon and sail Frisbee all copies loads of fun!
Craig I have seen both of your Vinyl video's and they are very good, entertaining is a word that comes to mind.Your always very upbeat and that comes across well.I said always upbeat? I have only seen two video's. Any way I have really enjoyed them. I would really be interested in owning one of your singles. Could you please let me know what you want for one.
I really like 90125. My introduction to Yes, though I now love the classic stuff, but this one will always be a favourite. The CCR album is an amazing comp.
great job! i agree with your picks. i cant believe you said Bread because i have the original with Diary and Greatest Hits. sounds great with my Pro Ject 2 experience with sumiko blue cartridge. i do have original master recordings of Fleetwood Macs white album, lennon mind games, George Benson's masquerade, Steely Dan Aja, and of course Dark Side of the Moon...180 gram of The Wall and Daft Punk, Beatles white album and sgt peppers...Looking for a clean copy of Grover Washington Jr Winelight....i have more but wanted to thank you for the great information. i power my magnapanar 1.7i with parasound 2.1 halo. incredible sound...i hope someday to get the 3.7i
You said you love Rush and I immediately now like you 1,000 times more! I have Rush Signals and Power Windows atm. I eventually want to get 2112, Moving Pictures, and Fly By Night. Update: As of today, I now own Rush's 2112, Hemispheres, Power Windows, Signals, AND I have Grace Under pressure on the way.
OMG I joined Columbia House like 10 Times. I have tons of records from them. I have never heard Hemispheres, but 2112 is a Staple of my Drum Practices. It is also a huge Favorite of mine - So I guess I now must get it if it was that hard to choose from. Supertramp Live was the best sounding concert I have ever been too - They sounded Live exactly as good in sound quality as they did on their Studio Recordings. I must say I am a little surprised not One Led Zeppelin Album was in there - LZ IV, and especially because of the incredible sound they got on Vinyl with Physical Graffiti. When you got to the end and no Zeppelin, I was like WHAT !?.
hello craig my names tony im from the uk london you mentioned two albums on your video hotel california by the eagles and supertramp ive got both on original pressings and are as good as new im a very big vinyl collector like you your into your rush im into the beatles big time and bought some great orginal and 70s pressings that sound like ive bought them straight out the record store

Crsig buddy just saw rush:beyond the lighted stage on netflix. Was reallllllly realllly awesome. Thought about you the whole time. Did not realize they are a Canadian band.
Thank you~
I'm 15 and we have EXACTLY the same music taste:)
Also, glad to see your TH-cam channel growing
Dude, me too! Floyd, Croce, Doobies, Petty, Bread... You can't really go wrong!
Did you know Dark Side of the Moon had some covers that were printed upside down in error, and some of them got out before recall, and are highly sought after ?
I really identify with most all of your favorites, and was very happy to have found your video. Cheers from California!
Just saw this today...It was getting weird when I have your top 14 in my collection...revisiting FM as a result...your Audacity video gets hits whenever I start digitising. Thanks for your efforts!
Craig you’re a top guy! Would love to sit and have a beer and listen to records in your den. 🍺👍🏻
agree
Just watched this video on NYE at 12.30am. Really enjoyed the video. Just what I needed in terms of relaxing. Noticed it was 5 years old at the end!!
I really like that Roy Orbison album and Roberta Flack. Just found your channel, thanks for sharing all this great info! The last one, olympics is very neat.
Get "Close to the Edge" by Yes
Don't forget Fragile and The Yes Album as well. All of them are excellent albums :)
Agree. I own a 1972 pressing in excellent condition. As I am going blind Im enjoyiong my music much more...
I agree on the Yes albums. I purchased them new when they were released
Their album Tormato was a good one. First time I bought it on 8 track.
Thanks for the upload, Craig! I just re-watched this video because I was finally able to afford my own turntable. And I have to say, after I watched this previously, I went ahead and listened to that FM record (on Spotify) and I freaking love it! What a terrific album and band. Thanks heaps!

All Great Albums thank you for sharing your Album's

Is there any way to get a copy of your 45? I think it's be really cool if you signed some and sold them to your viewers!!!
I have quite a few that I am thinking about selling on Ebay. I'll let everyone know when that happens.
+Vinyl TV thanks!!
Trevor LaBree agree

I did find a>>>Audio-Technica AT-LP2X Record Player which has a Magnetic Cartridge and Diamond Stylus which is compatible with my receiver, I am going to get that and use your lesson to make the proper adjustments!!!!!!! Thank You For Your Lessons>>>!!!!!!!
Loved your top 20! A Few of them were unfamiliar to me, but the Jim Croce LP/Record/Vinyl is also one of my favorites. I
do believe, however, that my very favorite of all time is Baby Face by Wing & A Prayer Fife & Drum Corps. You've probably
not heard of it, but (I think) it's great.
Love you videos Craig ,so full of great info & tips thanks again from Kim in Ballarat Victoria Australia
Cheers!
John Bellamy Needle drop... absolutely.
John Bellamy Oh, and the FM album is a little synth oriented too, but one of the head guys, Nash the Slash play quite a bit of electric violin on it. He also has this little electric guitar, or maybe it's a mandolin, I'm not sure.
I too have 90125, and the croce album, I have had it 3 times on vinyl and have worn it out. love your videos and appreciate your knowledge.
Love your videos
Thanks Craig
Save The Ales is awesome.Great Video.I couldn't pick 10 in my collection.Rock on!!
Pretty awesome! Could you do a video of your Rush collection? Rush is frekin awesome!
I love this channel! Congrats you showed me how to setup my turntable .
VC VINYLcommunityahhh having my second video tonight! Thanks for your video great job
Scritti poltiti now Craig the sound on that album is really great there is something going on all over the 5 positions in the speakers .Ho patti I think one track was ,really needs sitting and closing your eyes to find the sound. Love that album
Thanks, great list....I had your first 5....and yes, I remember the Columbia house scam...so does my wallet.
They are a physical commodity of the highest quality. The implicit advantages are quite obvious.
cd's will never return for they will never go.
You remind me of Karl from forgotten weapons / inrange TV. Nice video!
Great video, love the collection!
Well you did a great thing. That's what matters. Good on you man.
Just ordered 40th Anniversary of Piper at the Gates of Dawn on audiophile vinyl. Can't wait to get my hands on it and give it a spin.
I hope you still plan to make vid of yer fav RUSH albums.
Just checked out FM - Black Noise, halfway into the 2nd song and I'm sold this is awesome!
I just found you on TH-cam yesterday and have been binge watching your videos! I really enjoy them... After having watched this collection video of your favorite records I can tell you either live in Canada or are from Canada haha! after a while I was going to expect Chilliwack or April Wine record😝 keep the videos coming I really enjoy them
awesome stuff craig, every album is gold!
Jason Q
Thanks Craig, enjoyed that.
This guy is a valuable friend.
I have the Red One of Hemisphers! Great!
I've still got the red one with the poster in it. RIP Neil 🏴🇨🇦
I love your best of, I didn't know the 1st two bands, but I did every other.
That Tom Petty album is sweet! Also, Hemispheres is a bold choice. I don't know if I could come up with a favorite Rush record.
Knowing the fact that you've got a pair of "golden ears" for hearing, I'm gonna check out the FM. I want a copy of Breakfast In America, but can't decide on the DVD/BluRay or the vinyl version. Great collection, and video. Thumbs Up!
Get the vinyl a original copy shouldn't be too hard to find and has great sound quality to boot.
scotchrks For the Supertramp, The CD sounds great. If you can get the BluRay, you know you got the highest resolution digital copy. But above all else, you need a good vinyl copy. The re-issue sounds great.
Great choices!
I like your choices. My list :
Pink Floyd - Dark side of the moon
Supertramp - Crime of the century
Steely Dan - Can´t buy a thrill
The Smiths - The Queen is dead
The Waterboys - This is the Sea
Pavlov´s Dog - Pampered Menial
Keith Jarrett - Koln Concert
Jethro Tull - Songs from the Wood
Television - Marquee Moon
Neutral Milk Hotel - In the aeroplane over the sea
Pixies - Doolittle
Sufjan Stevens - Illinois
Pink Floyd - The Wall
Dire Straits - Brothers in Arms
Gang of Four - Entertainment!
I picked up a early early 1973 pressing of DSOTM from a thrift in great shape for a dollar : )
You'r amazing! i will follow you from now On,,,,, keep it up
Hello Craig, thanks for your videos, just subscribed.
My favorite Yes album was "Tormato" in which i originally bought in 8 track now have the album.
I collect vinyl also love them that 45 by far-away you said you 100 copies a cool thing to do take a trip to the Grand canyon and sail Frisbee all copies loads of fun!
Craig
I have seen both of your Vinyl video's and they are very good, entertaining is a word that comes to mind.Your always very upbeat and that comes across well.I said always upbeat? I have only seen two video's. Any way I have really enjoyed them. I would really be interested in owning one of your singles. Could you please let me know what you want for one.
Steven Bell Thank you! I will be thinking about how to sell some of those singles and I will let you guys know. cheers!
I hope you have some April Wine in your collection! Cheers from NB
I really like 90125. My introduction to Yes, though I now love the classic stuff, but this one will always be a favourite. The CCR album is an amazing comp.
great job! i agree with your picks. i cant believe you said Bread because i have the original with Diary and Greatest Hits. sounds great with my Pro Ject 2 experience with sumiko blue cartridge. i do have original master recordings of Fleetwood Macs white album, lennon mind games, George Benson's masquerade, Steely Dan Aja, and of course Dark Side of the Moon...180 gram of The Wall and Daft Punk, Beatles white album and sgt peppers...Looking for a clean copy of Grover Washington Jr Winelight....i have more but wanted to thank you for the great information.
i power my magnapanar 1.7i with parasound 2.1 halo. incredible sound...i hope someday to get the 3.7i
Dude, i fricking love dream on the horizon... don't have it on vinyl, didn't know it was yours... believe that was in 88'... good work....
Greatest hits records are like going to a restaurant for a 12 course meal which is all desserts.
wow I have all of these & love them all except yer FM & big pic Olympic record...great vid
I'll check out that FM album, thanks!
I am a sucker for booklets and inserts and posters
Great that you have a copy of your song on vinyl Craig, can we hear it? :)
Nice collection mate....missing a bit of Dire Straits?
That Scritti Politti album is a conversation starter for sure, just added to the discogs want list lol
I’m 14 and I’m into hard rock and classic rock and I feel like My collection would not be complete if I didn’t have any of my Eric Clapton Records
Very nice records . CCR No1 to me 🔥
You said you love Rush and I immediately now like you 1,000 times more!
When you got to the end and no Zeppelin, I was like WHAT !?.
i just picked up Dark side of Moon - original master recording for 20 cents. Not a scratch on the vinyl - only problem is a serious warp!
20 cents!!!!
That's incredible!
Very lucky find
alan rios Thanks - probably my best find so far was Pink Floyd Animals sealed for $1 - original not reissue.
Since there is a warp, it's virtually unplayable. That's probably why you only payed 20 cents for it.
still worth it
there is a vinyl flattener sold
Craig you should start a list.
hello craig my names tony im from the uk london you mentioned two albums on your video hotel california by the eagles and supertramp ive got both on original pressings and are as good as new im a very big vinyl collector like you your into your rush im into the beatles big time and bought some great orginal and 70s pressings that sound like ive bought them straight out the record store
Awesome Stuff. Gotta check out some of the stuff you showed. I just subscribed.
great vid Craig i would love to purchase one of your original 45's how do i go about it?
Dan Conaghan I'll have to figure something out because a few people have asked. I'll let yu's know.
You had the ultimate mullet in your day.
Who doesn't have Boston on vinyl? Me. lol.
Boston was released in the heyday of the 8 Track tape. Anybody with a car wanted their music to be portable. Records were fine for kids riding bikes.
what everybody had boston on vinyl 8 tracks were shit they never played the tracks in the right order you just taped it on to a cassette to play in the car
I don't have their debut anymore but I still have don't look back
Me. I only know 2 of their songs
Me and any of my friends who collect vinyl records lol
Crsig buddy just saw rush:beyond the lighted stage on netflix. Was reallllllly realllly awesome. Thought about you the whole time. Did not realize they are a Canadian band.

I found an original release of breakfast in america in a thrift shop and it sounded great
Still waiting for My first Rush Vinyl. However I have several CDs
Id love a copy of your 45. Its a great song. You should re-record it.
