2.75" Riser Bait Topwater Technique

A simple demo on Castaic's Upper Lake of basic starter technique for topwater and shallow water fishing the custom hand-airbrushed version of the 2.75" Jackall 007 riser bait we sell on baitmerchant.com.
This bait can be fished on a light spinning rod and reel and 8lb fluorocarbon line, with its depth controlled by how long you let it sink and how fast you reel to bring it back towards the surface.
The riser can be fished topwater by casting and immediately reeling, or fished like a swimbait by letting it sink and experimenting with your cranking speed. It's NOT a jerkbait, so you want smooth motion with the speed of the reel creating the movement, not rod motion.
