  • I had the bright idea to build a smaller scale garage to film in now in my mobile studio. A lot of days later here is what we got! Part 2 coming soon.

    its amazing how you can beat some stuff up, slather it with stain, nail and glue it together and have it come out fantastic. well worth it. looking forward to seeing it with rats and greeblings.. since you asked, I'm pondering on a 2 car garage or shop out of scale bricks, ill hate myself later don't worry. Id like to throw an Arduino in there for an extra level of immersion, light switches, random tool noises, some occasional shop yelling

    NGL I started to bug out when you took the hammer to the old washboard, bc at first I thought it was one of the old glass washboards. 😂
    Turned out great 👍👍

    I had not even remembered that moving would make you lose your old scale garage. This looks really cool, but now I'm anxious to see what you do with the door. Personally I don't have a full size garage or work shop. Just a spare bedroom. So my tools etc.. are all small / hobby sized. As far as your cut-off tools. I found some Circular saw blades for a dremel tool, 2" diameter. I also use a flex shift drive extension, both on Amazon. So the bulk of the dremel isn't in the way.
    I also envy your ability to cut out the window openings free hand. I can't follow a straight line using a guide.

    It's a bummer you had to pound your wood all day... That's what she said! lmao I love that you used an old washboard for the door, and then held it all in place while the glue was setting with clothespins! The conduit was a wonderful scale touch.

    Looks amazing all the way around. Definitely the kind of place you will have old rusty nails on all the studs to hang your coats on. Looking forward to seeing it all finished. Thanks for sharing your videos.

    Hey Sir. WOW that looks great. Been away, looking at houses trying to move. It's a sellers market right now. You know that looks the part though. Can't wait for the next part. Are you going to put the lifts and stuff like you did in the other shop? Just askin. Well take care bro.

    • @RCeveryday
      @RCeveryday  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’m going to put some scale stuff in here, it’s too small for a lift. But I’ll definitely add some tool boxes and the like.

    This is so cool! I want to be more creative like this, but I'm afraid it won't come out so great- then I have this huge mess laying around which I'll end up chucking out :(

    • @RCeveryday

      Man you never know until you try. I had forgotten how much work went into my last shop build. So I started this one thinking it would be a quick little project 🤦‍♂️. Nothing is ever perfect, that’s what makes it unique. I have had a few things on this build not go as planned. Just have to roll with the punches and make the best of it.

  • @MrCaprinut

    Yes! A new scale garage build! I could watch this all day long.
    I'm currently building my own scale garage right now with 34x16x12" base to fit into my shelf rack as there is no other place to put it.
    Mine will also be a banr style with some Tamiya trown in it with miniature Tamiya kit boxes etc.
    I also found the perfect lightning system which is 3000calvin warm white 550lumen per meter which is convverted to 12v. My led list will hide in a U cannel between one of my roof beams.
    Can't wait to see how both your and mine turns out.

    Looks good👍. It's alot smaller than the last shop. Or is this one for a smaller scale?

    • @RCeveryday
      @RCeveryday  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      This one is the same scale, I just need a smaller one to use for now until I find a place with a shop again to work out of my big one.

      @@RCeveryday 100 $ for the walls, pff. Here in the Netherlands there are blinds available that are made with bamboo strips. Almost in the same color as your wall. Exept the price, a lot less $ and you can stain bamboo. 👊🏽
