Some lovely clear thinking and open-mindedness mate :) fellow old raver and landscape enthusiast here. So many of us have seen how full and real and connectedly we could live life, but the years after those dance floors have done a number on us and closed our eyes and hearts.
We all need something like the solitude and exercise and views to keep our eyes open like yours are, and you’re sharing this with us and it’s doing to world a world of good.
Thanks so much for being exactly that strobe light you want to see in the world. The days of connecting with someone’s soul in 10 seconds with a smile and a shard bottle of water are over for a while, so doing what you are with this channel is an amazing feat of keeping the love light shining.

Hi Adam I love your vids so much! You are the first TH-camr I have ever felt I really must subscribe to. Last year was personally really tough for me losing a loved one suddenly at a young age and having to start life over. Your weekly vids, positivity, zest for life and living free have really helped pull me though. I suffer with anxiety and depression but thanks to your infectious optimism I hope to start getting out and about again soon. Thanks for making a difference, for showing us the way and keeping it real 🤙 😎 btw the view at the top proving that it’s worth getting out what ever the weather for an epic view!

I can remember walking a path in The New Forest, proper dry path and one leg went into a sink hole up to my crutch with my left leg out to the side like a frigging frog.
The dog thought it was fricking hilarious! Kept running up to me and running away as if it was all a game.

Great views mate. Even in freedom to roam Scotland, some landowners have been blocking gates, parking and access to land since Covid, crazy. But I push through always ready to challenge landowners.👍Everything I the same pan is the way to go,power to you.

I've worked in the Lake District for 36 years and I guess I have become blinded to its beauty.
Mind you. A holiday in Canada did kind of spoil the English Lakes for me. That place is incredible.
I used to do the same in Thailand when I lived there after a while u take it for granted seems only when it's gone do u realise how great it was 😉 love the lakes though

Try the stickle tarn in Ambleside at the top end of Windermere... theres a hotel called the New Dungeon Ghyll... I used to work there about 20yrs ago...
You can walk up the waterfall at the back of the hotel... great views at the top... a couple of hours...

Tarn = A small mountain lake in a hollow, surrounded by steep slopes formed by a glacier.
A wandering where cookbook, you couldn't make it up 🤭 but there's a place somewhere in TV for Adam....System doesn't work for alot of people....you are right to raise it...

Adam, when on your trails. Why don’t you wash your boots in the shallow part of the water to keep them clean. They will last a lot longer.
Maybe a little cheeky but 😬 they are lovely boots 🥾 boots 🥾 do need a little clean now and again. 😅🤞
I do that by carrying a small nail brush to clean them off a bit on the trail.
