When I heard Charles LeClerc was recording music I thought, "Oh no, another sports celeb making a rap song." But I was surprised! This is absolutely beautiful and relaxing. Bravo!
In the first video, you can see how Charles sees the notes in his head. He understands how the notes play off one another and he sees areas that they could be more melodic. His musical talent is betrayed by his hands. That's not to say he can't play, but his innate understanding of the theory is so far advanced than his ability to convey it through a keyboard. I'm a musician of more than 35 years and I don't "see the notes" in my head like he does. I am very very impressed and this is absolutely beautiful.

It is a really beautiful piece, very fragile but everso gently flowing like a cascade, so much about the Romantic era. It reminds me of work by Joe Hiaishi which is so stunning too and very much in favour of my daughter.. she'd love to play this I am sure!
