Hello sis Kehinde , What are the documents they request at Lagos airport? Do they ask for coronal test result or vasination certificate?
They actually didn’t ask for Covid vaccine card at all. The only documents they asked for are: letter of enrollment, tuition deposit receipt and international passport.
How was your experience with the cbsa at Montreal airport
It was pretty chilled. They only asked basic questions like: why did you choose this course? what’s the duration of your course?and where will you be staying?
That was it.

One way ticket is fine since you are coming as a student. I am not sure what airport is closest to New Brunswick but I know that Halifax international airport is 4hr 30mins from there.

I travelled 3years after I graduated from university so there was time for my parents to source for it. It wasn’t easy but it was worth it.

Hello, as an international student in Canada does the school help you with accomodations?
So the thing is that schools have their own accommodation and they would want you to take their own.
However, the international office in the school may now decide that they want to assist those that are staying off campus.
Asides that, you can also join facebook groups of the school or area you are moving to and ask questions or look out for accommodation that suits you best.

Please my school doesn’t make it compulsory we pay tuition fees at the our home country, can we tell the immigration officer that if I was asked ??
My school doesn’t also require upfront payment before leaving your home country.
However, I think it is better to pay a part of the tuition before you come so that you can be on a safer side. Immigration officers both in Nigeria and Canada might ask. Even if it is a small percentage.
