This is my favorite Lennin song. I am a huge Lennon/Beatles fan. Honestly, I never liked Manson, but he did a great take on this song. Kudos to Marilyn!
Something about Manson's voice creates this eerie, but soothing tone to the song. I love Marilyn Manson's songs, if you actually pay attention, he's a lyrical poet. :) SWEET! 0 dislikes! :D

+LynxGuitar98 Yeah, except for the fact that he didn't make it. This is quite similar to the original version, nothing innovative here - differently from the song itself.
Probably the slowest reply ever. My point was that he made it better than John Lennon's original version of the song. I do however, see that there is room for misunderstanding.
@illusionFTW yeah...John Lennon's alter ego...this is my favorite Lennon song for many reasons...I think Manson did an awesome job and believe Lennon would have agreed
I think he ment that Manson is quite an intelligent person judging by what he writes. So it's not surprising he decided to do Working Class Hero cover.
Is there an album with Manson's covers on? I'm not really fussed about his original work (it's great, just not for me) but I think his voice on acoustic work is unbelievable. So yeah, any album with all his covers on would be smashing if such a thing exists. Peace. x
Sounds sooo similar to Snake Eyes and Sissies ; fantastic how Marilyn Manson layers his primal themes with his Chozen Cuvers..what are both songs about?
I do not particularly like Manson or his work in general. However I really like this album, is one of my favorites among all genres of music that I hear. However it amazes me the incredible lack of culture of people who attribute, in this music in particular, a great poetic ability to manson! This song is actually from a genius poet, John Lennon! I like how the voice of manson works the music, but poetry is from a true genius, not of manson!
So the only person that seems to have noticed that the instrumentation for this song was already perfect is Marilyn Manson. Not even remotely surprised. Ozzy's is pretty good, Cyndi Lauper just sounds wrong and Green Day does WAY too much to the instruments. Manson, completely out of character, just goes "Yep, instruments perfect, just gonna sing it".
Manson does awesome covers.

Bellísima voz de Marilyn Manson 🖤 Un placer escucharlo 😍
People would understand more if they just read his book. A truly brilliant biography
This is my favorite Lennin song. I am a huge Lennon/Beatles fan. Honestly, I never liked Manson, but he did a great take on this song. Kudos to Marilyn!
his voice is mesmerizing. it gives me chills. he truly put a spell on me
Ficou ótimo!! Nunca tinha ouvido ele cantando!! 🤗

I'm probably alone in thinking this, but he is like a metal Bob Dylan with stuff like this.
This is not his song. It's a cover of John Lennon's song.
wow how did i miss him singing this! nice version
great song by the greatest artist
... like it very much... great voice...
always a fan and this song reminds me why!

i am a john lennon fan to this is one of my top songs he made
it's a very good version... Lennon ...and even Dylan must be PROUD...NOTHING WAS CHANGED...
!WARNING!: IF YOU KEEP ON READING YOU WILL FIND AN OPINION WE MIGHT NOT SHARE!
Another proof on how metal-bands make the best ballads :D haha

The song is so fucking awesome, and really lends itself to so many different interpretations. Most of them like this one, are really good.
Some of my favorite people have done this song. Of course John Lennon, Green Day, Ozzy Osbourne, and Marilyn Manson.... This song is fucking amazing.

The best cover.
I think he ment that Manson is quite an intelligent person judging by what he writes. So it's not surprising he decided to do Working Class Hero cover.
Very lovely song, always good when the sound differs from the norm, not necessarily the message! But the sound, good
i love it

Metoco verlo en el maquinariafest junto a slayer, max calavera excelente concierto
@xXKittyTVXx every cover... but that's the exception. There's no one better than Lennon.
Why have I never heard this before?!
Sounds sooo similar to Snake Eyes and Sissies ; fantastic how Marilyn Manson layers his primal themes with his Chozen Cuvers..what are both songs about?
Hey he may be a freak but ya are right he's a genius with music and words xP
This song was written by John W. Lennon I think you know him
@KMurderful
Though I disagree, it's your opinion, and I respect that.
Alright, lads. Let's go.
Osbourne and Manson *
This song's an awesome nihilistic critique of our Capitalistic society.
I don't think it's nihilistic..It's those at the top - capitalists who are nihilistic

You do know that this was written by John Lennon of the Beatles...
well he didn't write this song, but yes I'd still have to agree.
i know john lennon was the greatest artist ever
@macduflives Lennin song?? xD
it dosent make sense until u get that its ironic.
Rise UP! ..to th hell dont nestle in..
But this is cover, john lennon is original songwriter ;)
@xXKittyTVXx whatever :/

beer and AI dont co exist trust me.
What he take?
this cover makes me not want to be working class hero.
it's pretty obvious that he did
lyrical poet? john lennon wrote this song, lol
Had no business covering this song.
neal s it seemed to fit the message of Holywood pretty good
Toni Naito
That's a good point. They should've covered "Lost in the Supermarket" by The Clash during that era, too.
neal s have no reason to be here then huh?
This is not Marilyn Manson. Why people do that?
it's is Manson
Yes, it's Marilyn Manson. He re-did the cover to a John Lennon song
There is no one and will be not like Marilyn Manson
OMG the sound engenner is horrible.... this sounds like a drunk guy in the street,,,, a bad one.
Pedro Reis
Hahaha. You're dumb. 😎✌
