TQ Pastor Jonathan. For a few years, we sat under and believed a hypergrace pastor's teaching that when we worked, the Lord wouldn't work; and when we didn't work, Jesus would get to work. All we needed to do was just to sit down to "rest" and tell the devil to shoo off. Well, to make a long story short, we are very thankful & grateful that the Lord Himself has called us out of that church, and we have never been more BLESSED! God cannot make mistakes!

FAITH THEY HAD
I heard the Sabbath in the Gospel story was the high Sabbath of the first day of Unleavened Bread, starting on a Wednesday night.
Wednesday evening, Thursday evening, Friday Evening, then a full three full days and three full nights would have put resurrection at Sabbath evening as the sun was setting to usher in the first day is the weak. He then ascended on the first day which was First Fruits to present himself to the Father as the “first fruits from among the dead”.
Simply put, you can’t get three full days and nights with a “Sunday” resurrection if he died and was buried “Good Friday” evening.
Once saved by Jesus your life change forever.
Now you are a chosen people,
a royal priesthood,
a holy nation,
God’s special possession,
that you may declare the praises of Him Who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.
Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God;
once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. 🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤

Hard to believe there are still those that don’t either read the Bible or they just can’t put two and two together regarding the day that our Messiah was crucified. Passover that year was Wednesday ( starts at dusk). So, he was taken down from the stake and buried before Passover . Count 3 days and 3 nights … he arose before dusk on the Sabbath. The RCC twisted the Scriptures… and still do. Trust the Word. Shalom!
In crucification week thete wrre two Sabbaths...Jesuscwas crucified on a Wednesday,they rushed husband burial before sundown as Thursdsy was a High Holy Day, Feast of unleavened bread...The women ran to the tomb very early Sunday morning but The Lord had already risen on the Saturday Sabbath...3 days and 3 nights as Yhe Lord said,same as Jona in the belly of the whale...🙏

Crucifixion was on a Wednesday because the coming sabbath was a high sabbath - gospel of John. It was the first holy day of the feast of unleavened bread not saturday sabbath.

Yeshua was crucified on Wednesday April 28, 28 AD about 3pm. At about 7 pm that day, the first day of the Feast of Passover, a HIGH sabbath began. They had to get Yeshua off the cross before the HIGH sabbath, NOT the weekly sabbath.
