From the US, but thoroughly enjoy learning about finance through your channel. Question for you: at 4:36 you state that the investor provides a "sell instruction" to the broker. But isn't the lender the buyer and the borrower the seller?

also, about the clearing house guaranteeing the shares, does the CH always have to have the same shares on hand in case the deal falls through? or do they guarantee to buy the same shares and hand it over to the buyer if the deal falls through?
You know when you said settlement are registered whne you buy and sell is that for investor. Like if you an investor and doing that your bit is getting registered?
A question with reference to order book - Do the buyers set a price range or fixed value? E.g. if you're selling at 2.01£ per stock and the buyer sets 2.00£, does this technically mean that they won't get matched?
can i ask why the guarantee is needed? isnt there legal recourse? sue the guy? or is it just for convenience, since lawsuits take a long time? i would think the threat of a lawsuit, especially in a reputable jurisdiction like the UK, would be enough...
Where can I find what the "multiple" of a stock is and it's earnings. FOr example, Stock X is trading at 20 times earnings, it is under bought. I hear it all the time but not sure how to find.

I think you are taling about PE ratio. You can find such information in the "value investor" book.
